Reconstruction of the
2018 Hackpen Hill (2) formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Copy circle 1 to its upper intersection with the vertical centerline.

3. Construct the circumscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 2, pointing up.

4. Extend the lower righthand side of pentagon 3 downto the vertical centerline.

5. Construct a circle concentric to circle 2, passing through the intersection of line 4 and the vertical centerline.

6. Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 5, pointing down.

7. Draw the five diagonals of pentagon 6.

8. Construct a circle centered at the upper (inner) intersection of diagonals 7, tangent to the upper side of pentagon 6.

9. Construct a line passing through the center of circle 2, parallel to the horizontal centerline, and extending upto circle 5 in both directions.

10. Construct the circumscribed decagon (regular 10-sided polygon) of circle 5, pointing up.

11. Construct the circumscribed circle of decagon 10.

12. Construct a circle concentric to circle 8, tangent to circle 11 at the lower side.

13. Construct the circumscribed pentagon of circle 5, pointing down.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 8, passing through the lower angular point of pentagon 13.

15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 14 at the upper side.

16. Construct a circle centered at the intersection (tangent point) of circles 14 and 15, tangent to circle 12 at the upper side.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the upper side.

18. Circles 11, 12, 14, 15, and 17, and lines 7, together, make up the final reconstruction.

19. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

20. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2018 Hackpen Hill (2) formation.

21. The final result, matched with the aerial image.
