Reconstruction of the
2019 Rodfield Lane formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down.

4. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.

5. Construct a circle passing through the top of hexagon 2, and passing through the lefthand and righthand intersections of triangles 3 and 4.

6. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 5 at the lower side.

7. Copy circle 6 to its lower intersection with the vertical centerline.

8. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 7 at the lower side.

9. Draw three rays of circle 1, to the angular points of triangle 4.

10. Copy hexagon 2 (with its center) to the intersection of circle 6 and the lower righthand ray 9.

11. Copy hexagon 2 five more times, to the other intersections of circles 6 and 8 with rays 9.

12. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 6, pointing down.

13. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 8, pointing down.

14. Construct the circumscribed equilateral triangle of circle 8, pointing down.

15. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 12.

16. Copy circle 15 to the upper intersection of circle 8 and the vertical centerline.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the upper side.

18. Construct the circumscribed equilateral triangle of circle 17, pointing down.

19. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline, passing through the top of hexagon 10.

20. Copy circle 19 to the center of circle 1.

21. Copy circle 15 to the upper intersection of circle 20 and the vertical centerline.

22. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 21 at the upper side.

23. Circles 1, 20, and 22, hexagons 2, 10, and 11, and triangles 3, 12, 13, 14, and 18, are used for the final reconstruction.

24. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.

25. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

26. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2019 Rodfield Lane formation.

27.
