This simple circle may have several meanings. It could mean that a comet will be visible in the sky in the area where the crop circle was made. It might mean that a comet has been taken out of its orbit to strike the Earth, or come close to striking it. It could refer to the actual point of impact for the striking comet. Otherwise, it might refer to the night side of a planet (including Earth) the comet will pass before rounding the Sun and heading toward Earth impact. Small circles (frequently called 'grapeshot' ) refer to fragments accompanying comets which are depicted as large circles.
