Reconstruction of the
2020 Berwick Bassett Clump formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed regular 11-sided polygon of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of polygon 2.

4. Draw two connecting lines, from the lefthand intersection of circle 3 and the horizontal centerline, to its upper and lower intersections with the vertical centerline.

5. Construct a circle tangent to circle 3 at the righthand side, and tangent to both lines 4.

6. Draw a ray of polygon 2, from its center to the lefthand angular point just above the horizontal centerline.

7. Draw a ray of polygon 2, from its center to the righthand angular point just above the horizontal centerline, and extend this line upto the opposite side of circle 1.

8. Construct a circle inside, and tangent to circle 5 at the lefthand side, and tangent to lines 6 and 7.

9. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the righthand intersections of circles 5 and 8 with the horizontal centerline.

10. Construct a "two-points" circle between the centers of circles 5 and 9.

11. Construct a circle concentric to circle 10, tangent to the vertical centerline.

12. Construct a "two-points" circle between the righthand intersections of circles 10 and 11 with the horizontal centerline.

13. Construct a circle concentric to circle 10, passing through the center of circle 12.

14. Circles 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13, are used for the final reconstruction.

15. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.

16. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

17. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2020 Berwick Bassett Clump formation.

18. The final result, matched with the aerial image.
