Reconstruction of the 2020 Woolstone Wells formation | ||

| Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines. |
| 2. |
| Construct the inscribed regular 24-sided polygon of circle 1, pointing up. |
| 3. |
| Draw the twentyfour rays of polygon 2, from the center to the angular points. Number these points, as well as the rays, clockwise, 1 - 24, starting at the top. |
| 4. |
| Draw the diagonal of polygon 2 between angular points nrs. 1 and 10. |
| 5. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of diagonal 4 and ray 3 nr. 3. |
| 6. |
| Copy circle 5 to its intersection with ray 3 nr. 7. |
| 7. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the righthand side. |
| 8. |
| Draw the connecting line between the (righthand) intersections of circle 6 and rays 3 nrs. 5 and 9. |
| 9. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 8. |
| 10. |
| Draw the connecting line between the intersections of circle 5 and rays 3 nrs. 1 and 10. |
| 11. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of line 10 and ray 3 nr. 3. |
| 12. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of line 10 and ray 3 nr. 7. |
| 13. |
| Draw the connecting line between the intersection of circle 7 and ray 3 nr. 1, and the intersection of circle 9 and ray 3 nr. 2. |
| 14. |
| Repeat step 13 twentythree times, with respect to the other corresponding pairs of intersections. |
| 15. |
| Draw the connecting line between the intersection of circle 9 and ray 3 nr. 2, and the intersection of circle 5 and ray 3 nr. 1. |
| 16. |
| Repeat step 15 twentythree times, with respect to the other corresponding pairs of intersections. |
| 17. |
| Draw the connecting line between the intersection of circle 5 and ray 3 nr. 1, and the intersection of circle 11 and ray 3 nr. 2. |
| 18. |
| Repeat step 17 twentythree times, with respect to the other corresponding pairs of intersections. |
| 19. |
| Circles 1, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12, and lines 3, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, are used for the final reconstruction. |
| 20. |
| Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself. |
| 21. |
| Colour all areas corresponding to standing... |
| 22. |
| ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2020 Woolstone Wells formation. |

| The final result, matched with two aerial images. |
