Reconstruction of the
2022 Etchilhampton Hill (2) formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing down.

3. Construct the inscribed pentagon (of the inscribed circle) of pentagon 2, pointing up.

4. Construct the inscribed pentagon of pentagon 3, pointing down.

5. Construct the inscribed pentagon of pentagon 4, pointing up.

6. Construct the inscribed pentagon of pentagon 5, pointing down.

7. Construct the inscribed pentagon of pentagon 6, pointing up.

8. Construct the inscribed pentagon of pentagon 7, pointing down.

9. Construct the inscribed circle of pentagon 8.

10. Construct a circle centered at the lower righthand angular point of pentagon 8, tangent to the vertical centerline.

11. Copy circle 10 to the lower angular point of pentagon 2.

12. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersections of circles 9 and 11 with the vertical centerline.

13. Copy circle 9 to the center of circle 11.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 12, tangent to circle 13 at the upper side.

15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 9, tangent to circle 14 at the upper side.

16. Construct a "two-points" circle between the lower intersections of circles 11 and 15 with the vertical centerline.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 16, tangent to circle 13 at the lower side.

18. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of pentagon 8 and the vertical centerline, passing through its upper righthand angular point.

19. Copy circle 18 to the center of circle 1.

20. Copy circles 11, 12, 14, 16, and 17, as a whole, four times, while rotating around the center of circle 1, with respect to the other angular points of pentagon 2.

21. Circles 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, and 20, are used for the final reconstruction.

22. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.

23. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

24. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2022 Etchilhampton Hill (2) formation.

25.
