Reconstruction of the 2022 Lay Wood formation | ||

| Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. |
| 2. |
| Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing to the right. |
| 3. |
| Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 2. |
| 4. |
| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing to the left. |
| 5. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of the upper lefthand side of triangle 4 and the vertical centerline. |
| 6. |
| Construct a circle centered at the lefthand intersection of circle 3 and the horizontal centerline, passing through its upper intersection with the vertical centerline. |
| 7. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the righthand side. |
| 8. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of circle 6 and the upper lefthand side of triangle 4. |
| 9. |
| Copy circle 5 to the righthand intersection of circle 8 and the horizontal centerline. |
| 10. |
| Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 9 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 3 at the righthand side. |

| Construct a circle concentric to circle 10, tangent to circle 8 at the righthand side. |
| 12. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 10, tangent to circle 5 at the righthand side. |

| Construct a circle concentric to circle 10, tangent to circle 7 at the righthand side. |

| Construct a circle concentric to circle 10, passing through the upper intersection of circle 3 and the righthand side of triangle 4. |

| Copy circle 5 to the lefthand intersection of circle 8 and the horizontal centerline. |

| Copy circles 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, to the lefthand intersection of circle 15 and the horizontal centerline. |

| Circles 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16, are used for the final reconstruction. |

| Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself. |
| 19. |
| Colour all areas corresponding to standing... |
| 20. |
| ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2022 Lay Wood formation. |
