Crop Circle at Little Down

Soon [Croesus] began to formulate plans to invade his powerful neighbor, Persia. He went again to Delphi, to seek the Pythia’s advice. And this was Apollo’s response: 

‘If you make war on the Persians, you will destroy a great empire.’

--alternatively--

‘If King Croesus crosses the Halys River, a great empire will be destroyed.’ *

The oracle at Delphi was enigmatic, to say the least; who would deny it? But the circle-makers are enigmatic, as well. Even when a crop circle is crisp, clear and packed with symbolism, I often find myself wondering whether more than one interpretation is possible or even intended, as if each specimen presents a dilemma in quantum physics, waiting for some conscious intrusion to bring about superposition collapse and thus crystallize the outcome? 

Schrödinger's cat, for instance, is deemed both alive and dead until the moment of superposition collapse! Is this likewise the circle-makers’ intent, that observer-intrusion is needed to crystallize a distinct meaning or outcome; perhaps, different in the case of each intrusion?! 

Orthodoxy sometimes flirts with the idea, but only vaguely; and generally avoids or rejects the profound implications, which are troubling to most people, and deeply so because they call into question causality, itself, which most perceive to be linear. ‘How could causality possibly be other than linear? And if not linear, then what?!’ 

What would it mean if there were no physical reality separate and apart from consciousness, whether human, extraterrestrial or divine; the latter, perhaps, imminent in all things?! Even Einstein found the idea disturbing; quantum entanglement, he called, “spooky action at a distance.”  

But like it or not, the success of quantum physics--the ‘Science of Spirituality’, one might say--makes it a fact to be reckoned with. So, if this or any crop circle appears susceptible to multiple interpretations, let us consider them all to be within the realm of possibility until intruding consciousness triggers superposition collapse. 

Is this perspective helpful; and if so, how? “Yes,” by encouraging a holistic methodology that takes into consideration all characteristics having a nexus with the crop circle in question, whether real or imagined; to include, by way of illustration and not limitation, the species of growing crop, the geographic location and place-name, including historical significance, if any, orientation and proximity to other visible geographic or cultural features, and recent or future events, whether in astronomy, astrology, history, art, medicine, chemistry, mathematics, popular culture, etcetera. 

Of course, such a methodology will certainly not overlook the design characteristics of the crop circle, itself, but considering the nature of the medium--a growing crop, vice conventional or technological drawing board--one would do well to consider anything depicted to be symbolic, rather than representational. 

And so, on to the crop circle at hand. 

To me, an American, the Wiltshire place-name Little Down comes without historical baggage; but the name, itself, is evocative, something ‘close at-hand’ or ‘not far off?’ “A little down the road,” perhaps? Is it mere coincidence that the site is adjacent to the Chute Causeway, which is the Old Roman Road? Are the circle-makers, perhaps, calling attention to events unfolding in the not-too-distant future, just a little down the road? And of what significance are the three eye-catching geological features nearby, two copses of trees and a small pond? 

The crop, itself, appears to be wheat or barley; and why not for Wiltshire is England’s breadbasket; grain that is not baked into bread, the ‘staff of life’, will almost certainly yield fine ale. And as if to emphasize this point, we see what might well be a breadbasket woven into the central circle, braided stems tied with a bow! 

What about the overall design? One thing is unmistakable: a rotary saw blade. So much for subtlety. But the saw blade, a practical tool for cutting, is presented within an octagon, which is evocative of sacred geometry. If there is to be ‘cutting off,’ it would appear to be within a sacred context! 

Then there are four disks linked by a circle, within the saw blade. Are they in orbit around the large, central disk, bearing the breadbasket? Jonas Passos and Pablo Olivares both refer to this combination--a large central disk orbited by four smaller disks linked by a circle--which may well be interpreted as either Earth, orbited by Luna, our moon, or Sol, our sun, orbited by Earth; or perhaps, both, which is potentially significant because time is measured in either context! Are the circle-makers calling attention to an event not far off, measured in months and/or years, perhaps in units factored by eight or sixteen? 

Scanning from on high, Red Collie takes in the big picture, and sees a space visitor in the guise of Quetzalcoatl, the plumed serpent of ancient American civilizations. I for one, do not doubt that Quetzalcoatl may be on the way. But why is he coming? What’s his purpose? What does he expect to encounter upon arrival? For this, let’s turn back to the magnificent central glyph, which may well be Sol, our sun, the main sequence star which illuminates and energizes our planet--the bringer of light and life, powering the breadbasket of England and everything in human experience throughout time. 

In ancient Egypt, the sun-god Ra appears in many different hieroglyphs, each suggestive of sacred powers, which are on the one-hand, life-giving, and on the other, terrifying. Ra’s dual nature is brilliantly realized in Khepri, the iridescent scarab beetle which rolls the solar disk across sky. What makes Khepri an apt companion for Ra? He’s a dung beetle. In real life, he rolls a ball of dung to his mate, who lays eggs therein, and life emerges from the dung! So, to the ancient Egyptians, the image of Khepri rolling the solar disk across the sky was symbolic of divine energy, potentially life-giving, terrifying and trans-formative, all at the same time. 

How does this relate to the crop circle at Little Down? Well, a breadbasket woven into a field of barley or wheat may well symbolize the life-giving nature of Sol, our sun; but what about a coronal hole or sun-spot? Such real-life solar features are not benign; in fact, they are potentially deadly. Is it possible the circle-makers are calling attention to the dual-nature of our sun, the powerhouse which energizes our world, and yet threatens devastation, at the same time? Is this what Quetzalcoatl is coming to see, how we earthlings prepare (or fail to prepare) for the trans-formative solar outburst which, a little down the road, will extinguish or transform life as we know it?

According to the Mayan Dreamspell calendar Tzolkin, 22 May 2022 is a day with the Solar Seal Yellow Seed with Tone 4. This is the fourth day of the New Tzolkin Galactic module. Besides, 22 May 2022 is a day of the Yellow Electric Seed Year with Tone 3, which began on 26 July 2021 and continues until 25 July 2022. This year is the third year of the current 13-year cycle with the main energy White Wizard. In the White Wizard wavespell on the third position is the Yellow Electric Warrior with Tone 3, so the current year carries also the energy of the Yellow Electric Warrior.

Year of the Yellow Electric Seed with Tone 3

The central circle represents the Earth and symbolizes the energy RED EARTH – the Occult Teacher of the Yellow Seed. Around the Earth we see 4 smaller circles connected to each other. The 4 circles represent Seeds and symbolize the energy YELLOW SEED – Solar Seal No. 4. The connections between the Seeds symbolize the Electric Tone 3 - the Energy of Bonding. The 4 Seeds connected to each other symbolize the energy Yellow Electric Seed with Tone 3 – the main energy of the current Yellow Electric Seed year.

Around the 4 circles we see a figure resembling a tooth wheel with 16 teeth. The tooth wheel gives us a feeling of rotation, of a drive and thus symbolizes again the Electric Tone 3, which is also the Tone of Activation. The number 16 symbolizes the energy Yellow Warrior – Solar Seal No. 16. Thus, the wheel with 16 teeth symbolizes the energy Yellow Electric Warrior with Tone 3. As brave Yellow Warriors of the Light, we must fight for the realization of our Dreams, for Truth and Justice. The Yellow Warrior fights with the Sword of Truth. The words of truth are like knives that cut what is false. On the crop circle this is depicted very impressive: the tooth wheel with 16 teeth resembles also a saw disk!

The outer octagon symbolizes the energy Yellow Star - Solar Seal No. 8 - the Guiding energy of the Yellow Seed year with Tone 3. The Yellow Star is the energy of Creativity, Beauty and Harmony. This reminds us that the ideas we are giving birth to now must be aimed at creating a beautiful and harmonious new reality.

Day of the Yellow Seed with Tone 4: the fourth day of the New Tzolkin Galactic module

22 May 2022 is a day with the Solar Seal Yellow Seed with Tone 4. This is the fourth day of the New Tzolkin module of 260 days (nearly 9 months). The four circles represent 4 seeds and symbolize the energy of the day: Yellow Seed with Tone 4. The Zolkin module begins with the wavespell of the Red Dragon – the energy of Birth. On a personal level, each human creates/gives birth and plants in the world energy and information field his Seed for what he wants to achieve in the new Tzolkin module. We create the Seed with our ideas, thoughts, words, dreams, visions, intentions etc.

On social level, we all collectively create/give birth to our Seeds-ideas for the development of our society over the next 260 days. So, at the beginning of Tzolkin we plant our Seeds, and at the end of Tzolkin trees will grow from these Seeds and we shall harvest the fruits of our labor during these nearly 9 months. Besides, until the end of Tzolkin a new Human will grow out of every personal Yellow Seed we plant, just as from every new natural seed a new flower or a new tree grows.
