Reconstruction of the
2022 Pilgrim's Trail formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed regular 19-sided polygon of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct a circle centered at the lower lefthand angular point of polygon 2, passing through the lower intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline.

4. Copy circle 3 to the top of polygon 2.

5. Draw the connecting line between the intersections of circle 4 and the vertical centerline.

6. Divide line 5 into twelve equal parts. Number the nodes 1 - 11 from top to bottom.

7. Construct six circles concentric to circle 1, passing through nodes 6 nrs. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. See detail.

8. Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, passing through node 6 nr. 4.

9. Copy circle 8 two times, the first to the lefthand intersection of circles 1 and 4, the second to the righthand intersection of the first and circle 1.

10. Copy circle 3 to the angular point of polygon 2 next to the top at the lefthand side. See detail.

11. Construct three circles concentric to circle 10, passing through the other intersections of circles 1 and 9.

12. Copy circle 3 to the center of circle 1.

13. Copy circle 3 four times, the first to the upper intersection of circle 4 and the vertical centerline, the next ones to the corresponding intersections of every previous one.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, passing through node 6 nr. 5. See detail.

15. Copy circle 14 to the upper intersection of the upper circle 13 and the vertical centerline.

16. Construct two circles concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 15 at both sides. See detail.

17. Copy circles 10 and 11 fifteen times, to the other angular points of polygon 2, except for the top and the two lowest ones.

18. Circles 7, 10, 11, 12, 16, and 17, are used for the final reconstruction.

19. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.

20. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

21. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2022 Pilgrim's Trail formation.

22.
