The Moiré Formation that arrived July 22nd less than half a mile from
the Yatesbury air strip. Although it looks like magnetic field lines, it is definitely a specific kind of
moiré pattern. (Moirés are created by overlapping identical repetitive geometric figures,
such as concentric rings or, in this case, radial lines. Look carefully, this design is composed entirely of radial lines -- there
are no curves, except for the encompassing circle, of course.) I
recognized what it was when I was inside it on the first morning -- and I pointed it out to several people.
