The Giant Eight formation which appeared on the eighth day of the eighth month, and in the eighth year of the 21st century, below Milk Hill in Stanton St. Bernard, in wheat.

 

I didn’t crop the photo tight around the formation like I usually do because I like the lovely rolling fields in the background and their varied colours and textures.

 

My hat’s off to pilot Dai Dobbs who took the shot.  I used PhotoShop to removed considerable damage which was in the field, and to balance the colour).
