Late in the 2008 circle season a star formation appeared in wheat up on the top of Etchilhampton Hill.  I didn’t get a very good shot of it so I didn’t bother preparing it for the internet, but on a flight today (April 22, 2009) I clearly saw its “ghost” on the brow of the hill, in grey soil with nothing growing there yet.

I’ve combined my shot of it with my snap of the formation when it was fresh.
