Reconstruction of the 2022 Enmill Barn formation | ||
| 1. |
| Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. |
| 2. |
| Construct the inscribed octagon (regular 8-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up. |
| 3. |
| Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, with one angular point coincident with the upper righthand angular point of octagon 2. |
| 4. |
| Draw the connecting line between the top of octagon 2 and the lower righthand angular point of square 3. |
| 5. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of line 4 and the horizontal centerline. |
| 6. |
| Draw a horizontal line from the upper intersection of line 4 and circle 5 to the right upto circle 1. |
| 7. |
| Draw a vertical line from the intersection of line 6 and circle 1 downto circle 1. |
| 8. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 7. |
| 9. |
| Copy circle 5 to the upper righthand angular point of square 3. |
| 10. |
| Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 8 and the horizontal centerline, passing through the lower intersection of circles 1 and 9. |
| 11. |
| Copy circle 10 three times, to the other intersections of circle 8 and the horizontal and vertical centerlines. |
| 12. |
| Circles 1, 5, 8, 10, and 11, are used for the final reconstruction. |
| 13. |
| Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself. |
| 14. |
| Colour all areas corresponding to standing... |
| 15. |
| ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2022 Enmill Barn formation. |
| 16. |
| The final result, matched with the aerial image. |
