Reconstruction of the
2025 Beech Clump formation

1.
Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2.
Construct two inscribed pentagons (regular 5-sided polygons) of circle 1, one pointing up, one pointing down.

3.
Draw the connecting line between the two mutual intersections of pentagons 2, just above the horizontal centerline, as shown.

4.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 3.

5.
Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 4, pointing up.

6.
Construct the inscribed pentagram (the five diagonals together) of pentagon 5.

7.
Construct a circle centered at the righthand mutual intersection of pentagons 2, tangent to circle 4 at the righthand side.

8.
Copy circle 7 to the center of circle 1.

9.
Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 8, pointing up.

10.
Construct the inscribed pentagram of pentagon 9.

11.
Remove all redundant parts from pentagrams 6 and 10, such that the shown pattern remains.

12.
Draw the ten rays of pentagons 2, from the center to the angular points. Number these rays 1 - 10 clockwise, starting at the top.

13.
Draw the connecting line between the intersections of circle 7 and rays 12 nrs. 3 and 4, and extend this line upto circle 1 in both directions.

14.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of line 13 and ray 12 nr. 2.

15.
Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 14 at the upper side.

16.
Copy circle 15 to the upper intersection of circle 4 and the vertical centerline.

17.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the upper side.

18.
Construct two circumscribed pentagons of circle 1, one pointing up, one pointing down.

19.
Construct a circle centered at the righthand mutual intersection of pentagons 18, passing through the center of circle 1.

20.
Copy circle 1 to the righthand intersection of circle 19 and the horizonal centerline.

21.
Construct the vertical centerline of circle 20.

22.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the upper intersection of circle 20 and line 21.

23.
Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 7 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 14 at the righthand side.

24.
Copy circle 23 to the righthand intersection of circle 22 and the horizontal centerline.

25.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 24, tangent to line 21.

26.
Copy circle 1 to the righthand intersection of circle 25 and the horizonal centerline.

27.
Copy circle 15 to the lefthand intersection of circle 20 and the horizontal centerline.

28.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 20, tangent to circle 27 at the lefthand side.

29.
Copy circle 15 to the lefthand intersection of circle 26 and the horizontal centerline.

30.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 26, tangent to circle 29 at the lefthand side.

31.
Remove all redundant parts from circles 20, 26, 29, and 30, such that the shown pattern remains.

32.
Copy circle 24 and pattern 31, while mirroring with respect to the vertical centerline.

33.
Circles 1, 14, 17, and 24, and patterns 11, 31, and 32, together, make up the final reconstruction.

34.
Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

35.
...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2025 Beech Clump formation.
