Reconstruction of the
2025 Hackpen Hill formation
1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2. Construct the circumscribed square of circle 1, with horizontal and vertical sides.
3. Draw the connecting line between the center of circle 1 and the upper righthand angular point of square 2.
4. Construct the "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper righthand angular point of square 2 and the intersection of circle 1 and line 3.
5. Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, with horizontal and vertical sides.
6. Copy circle 4 to the upper righthand angular point of square 5.
7. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the lower lefthand side.
8. Construct the inscribed square of circle 7, with horizontal and vertical sides.
9. Copy circle 4 four times, to the intersections of square 8 and the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
10. Construct the inscribed circle of square 8.
11. Construct the inscribed square of circle 10, pointing to the right.
12. Construct a circle centered at the intersection of square 11 and line 3, tangent to circle 10 at the near side.
13. Copy circle 12 to the center of circle 1.
14. Copy circle 12 to the intersection of circle 1 and line 3.
15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 14 at the lower lefthand side.
16. Construct the inscribed square of circle 15, with horizontal and vertical sides.
17. Construct the inscribed circle of square 16.
18. Circles 1, 9, 10, 13, 15, and 17, are used for the final reconstruction.
19. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
20. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...
21. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2025 Hackpen Hill formation.
