Reconstruction of the
2026 Etchilhampton Hill formation |
| 1. |
| Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
| 2. |
| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing to the left.
| 3. |
| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.
| 4. |
| Draw the connecting line between the upper righthand angular point of triangle 2 and the lower lefthand angular point of triangle 3.
| 5. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 4.
| 6. |
| Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 5 and the vertical centerline, tangent to line 4.
| 7. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 6, passing through the intersection of line 4 and the vertical centerline.
| 8. |
| Copy circles 6 and 7 three times, to the other intersections of circle 5 and the horizotal and vertical centerlines.
| 9. |
| Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the center of circle 7 and its lower intersection with the vertical centerline.
| 10. |
| Copy circle 9 to the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline.
| 11. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 10 at the lefthand side.
| 12. |
| Circles 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 11, are used for the final reconstruction.
| 13. |
| Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
| 14. |
| Colour all areas corresponding to standing...
| 15. |
| ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2026 Etchilhampton Hill formation.
