Reconstruction of the
2026 White Sheet Downs formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed dodecagon (regular 12-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct a circle centered at the top of dodecagon 2, passing through its upper righthand angular point.

4. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 3 at the lower side.

5. Copy circle 3 to the center of circle 1.

6. Construct a circle concentric to circle 3, tangent to circle 5 at the upper side.

7. Construct the circumscribed square of circle 1, with horizontal and vertical sides.

8. Draw the ray of square 7, from the center to the upper righthand angular point.

9. Construct the inscribed dodecagon of circle 1, with one angular point at the intersection of circle 1 and line 8.

10. Construct a circle concentric to circle 3, passing through the upper righthand angular point of dodecagon 9.

11. Copy circle 10 to the center of circle 1.

12. Construct the "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersection of circle 1 and the lower intersection of circle 10 with the vertical centerline.

13. Construct the "two-points" circle between the righthand intersections of circles 3 and 6 with circle 1.

14. Copy circle 12 to the center of circle 13.

15. Copy circle 14, while mirroring with respect to the vertical centerline.

16. Construct the "two-points" circle between the lower intersections of circles 3 and 6 with the vertical centerline.

17. Copy circle 16 to the center of circle 3.

18. Draw two lines, parallel with the vertical centerline, tangent to circles 16 and 17 at both sides.

19. Copy circle 3 to the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline.

20. Remove all redundant parts from circles 3, 5, 6, 10, 14, 15, and 19, and lines 18, such that...

21. ...this pattern remains.

22. Copy pattern 21 three times, from the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline, to its other intersections with the horizontal and vertical centerlines, while rotating around its center, as shown.

23. Circles 4, and 11, and patterns 21, and 22, together, make up the final reconstruction.

24. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

25. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2026 White Sheet Downs formation.

26. The final result, matched with the aerial image.
