In the field next to “The Spinner,” also on Roundway Hill above the
Devizes white horse (and also in oilseed), there is a brand new
little formation which reminds me of Mayan style art (but I doubt
that it actually is). I usually don’t like what I call “freehand”
type construction (give me precise geometry), but this is quite
nice.
As my pilot, Dai Dobbs, and I flew round and round over it, there
was a group of people in the white horse, and I wished I could call
out to them and tell them how close they were to the new circle --
they could have gone right to it!
