Harewell & Temple Farm: Choosing a Different Tack 

When I first opened these two pages on my computer, I felt that they are connected and together give us something of a message.  It has taken me a whole day to figure out a possible meaning and then to verify the hunch with facts that can do the proving.   

The Harewell pentagram superimposed upon a pentagon presents as a beauty. Both those five-fold geometrical figures designate the Goddess Venus (of beauty, of fertility, of love, but also of WAR). The star appearing with the pentagon, in particular, sends the message of war-like attitudes like we see in the Royal Air Force and the United States Air Force insignia. The pentagon has been a basis for fortresses in the past and today’s greatest example is the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Although it is not a fortress, as in a castle per se, it is the headquarters for US military operations. 

The pentagon was used as a defensive design in ancient times as well as in our modern day and age where it is more symbolic than practical as a fortress. 

What is interesting is that in years gone by, the Star of Venus was most likely chosen as a symbol of a guiding light through the darkness of war (as in its name Morning Star). So that rather than a symbol for aggression, it used to be a symbol for protection, just like Ariadne’s crown of stars that lighted the way for Theseus in the labyrinth. After ages of use as a wartime image, in the present, it rather represents war-like activity than peacetime activities of living in beauty, and love.  

Gradually, the Morning Star was more commonly used as the sign for war. Geronimo, the ‘Human Tiger’ wears it on his war bonnet. His battle was with Mexican terrorists who slaughtered his people and his family. The same star symbol with a red circular centre was the mark of WW1 aircraft. ‘Give’er the gun’ was the motto. 

For this time and for these crop formations at Harewell and Temple Farm, I feel the message is that the world may choose between war-like, oppositional attitudes, even though those choices historically have had a good run, or perhaps have even run their course, as the name ‘Harewell’ could indicate to us (informal British meaning –‘to go or run fast or wildly’), OR we have the choice of attempting to follow the route indicated by the Temple Farm formation. 

The Temple Farm crop circle, even with its less strongly imprinted design, could be a new way to approach conflicts of interest. Within the circle, we see a lunar crescent-type shape that surrounds another circle containing a cube, which contains a triangle shape divided into three sections and an apex resolved by a small circle that is central to the circle inside the lunar crescent. If the triangle could be thought of in 3D, it would be a tetrahedron, AND if we join the tips of the small lines that arise from the sides of the triangle to the apexes of the hexagram/cube, we then have the demarcation of another tetrahedron interlaced with the one in front. After all that, we can see that the central triangle with the lines makes up what is known as the ‘star tetrahedron’ or ‘merkaba’. 

The star tetrahedron within the circle forms the merkaba which symbolizes an inner harmony between the polar energies within us. The harmony is characterized by health, well-being, ease of living in reality and peaceful relations with the environment–human as well as natural.

channeling energy down from the Universe to the earth plain, and one pointing downwards, drawing energy up from the earth 
beneath. The top, or upward pointing tetrahedron is male and rotates clockwise, with the bottom or downwards pointing one being 
female, which rotates counterclockwise.” (patinkas)  

“The Tetrahedron represents the element of Fire and is linked to the Solar Plexus; the center for personal power and acceptance. It creates the natural balance between the physical and spiritual. Each side sits flat, no matter how it is turned, making it the perfect symbol for balance and stability.” (patinkas) 

This seemingly very personal symbol can be a contributing factor to the achievement of peace on Earth, if its symbolism is taken seriously. Attention to the personal balance of forces in each individual who is able to do so detracts psychic energy from flowing into the vortex of oppositional and confrontational attitudes and action. Psychic ambience is crucial to tipping potential action one way or the other into real action. At this point in our evolution, the world is becoming a single psychic environment that includes all individual psyches. Therefore each person’s attitude is very important. 

The lunar crescent within the solar circle also represents the union of opposites, dark and light, night and day. Earth, the cube, is the container of the psychically balanced merkaba, the personal temple. The potential for balanced and harmonious life exists on Earth; ours is the role of activating that life supporting energy rather than encouraging the archaic energies of war. An army, or rebellion, or revolution or uprising is not the answer. It seems that the alternative, according to these two latest formations in England, to the chaos of the labyrinth of war is mass individual focus (the small central circle) on personal, spiritual, earthly life. 

AND SO…MAY THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH!
