Regular astronomical motions of the Earth, Moon and Sun may be used as a “Ptolemaic clock”

The crop artists apparently use regular astronomical motions of our Earth, Moon and Sun as a kind of “astronomical clock”:

This particular “clock” (as drawn in crops) seems to be of the Earth-centred, Ptolemaic variety, which was used on Earth for thousands of years, before Copernicus and Galileo made their great discoveries in the 16th or 17th centuries A.D.

How might such an “astronomical clock” work? We can watch the animated gif movie shown below to find out:

This new crop picture at Woolstone Hill has been highly stylized in an artistic sense, so that it only shows six possible positions for our “Sun” around the outer perimeter, over the course of one full solar year. It also shows just six alignments of our “Earth and Moon” as “new Moons” in phase, six times per solar year (whereas the true number is 12.37).

During a solar eclipse, such as the one we will see on August 21, 2017, both of those “Sun” and “Earth-Moon” circles will coincide.

When we study the landscape close to where this crop picture appeared (using Google Earth at latitude 51.575o N, longitude 1.579o W, near the Uffington White Horse), we can see what seems to be the image of a large “rabbit” who is “sitting on his haunches”, while contemplating a crop picture which was drawn below and to the right:

This large “rabbit” motif resembles a famous character from “Alice in Wonderland”, called the “white rabbit”. It has been seen in the landscape twice recently near crop pictures at Chilcomb Ranges on August 3, 2016, or Oxleaze Copse on May 21, 2017. The “Cheshire Cat” from “Alice” was likewise drawn twice in crop pictures at Wilton Windmill on July 15, 2016, or Figsbury Ring on July 22, 2016.

These new landscape features at Woolstone Hill, the third of their kind, seem to show a “white rabbit” who is looking at his “watch” (or his “astronomical clock”), while muttering “Oh dear! I shall be too late!” Then he hops down into a rabbit hole and enters Wonderland, and travels from one reality to another.

Three other “astronomical clocks” were drawn in crops recently at Cherhill on April 17, 2017 as a “lunar pendulum”, at Willoughby Hedge on May 4, 2017 as “rotating lunar nodes”, or at Oxleaze Copse on May 21, 2017 as a “12-month lunar calendar”.

Within the “body” of that landscape “rabbit” at Woolstone Hill, we can see a large, white letter “L”. This often stands in crop-circle symbology for “love”. Two other large letters “L” were seen in the landscape next to new crop pictures at Fonthill Down in England on May 30, or Le Birou in France on June 2, just a few days before this new crop picture appeared at Woolstone Hill in England on June 4.

Red Collie (Dr. Horace R. Drew)

Clever images of our “Earth, Moon and Sun” moving toward eclipse, as well as a “coiled serpent” and the “spinning wheel of a landscape airplane”, appeared within or close to a new crop picture at Woolstone Hill on June 4, 2017

A crop picture near Woolstone Hill on June 4, 2017 seems to show how our Earth and Moon turn in alignment toward the Sun in a periodic fashion, once every lunar month, almost like for a “spinning wheel”:

As of June 4, 2017, there will be three more “new Moons” on June 23, July 23 or August 21 until we see a total solar eclipse on the latter date of August 21 (with its shadows of “umbra” or “penumbra”).

This period of time also lies close to two and one-half lunar months of 29.5 days each, or 77 days in total, counting from June 5.

At the very centre of this crop picture, we can see the image of a “coiled serpent” in the lay of fallen plants, which suggests anti-clockwise rotary motion:

An enlarged view of that “coiled serpent” motif is shown here:

When we compare the stylistic features of this new crop picture at Woolstone Hill on June 4, with others that have appeared previously at Fonthill Down on May 30, Summers Hill on May 28, or Waden Hill on April 22, we can see that all of them were probably made by the same “artist”:

Studying next the landscape where this new crop picture appeared, we can see (using Google Earth) that it was drawn as the metaphorical “front wheel” of an “airplane” which is preparing to land:

Also in the landscape to the upper right of this crop picture, we can see a large “Chi Rho” symbol, which is called the “monogram of Christ” (see Chi_Rho):

Such a “front wheel” would be spinning anticlockwise as the “airplane” lands, which is exactly what its “coiled serpent” motif suggests in the centre (please see another slide above).

That landscape “airplane” resembles a “horned serpent”, with a big “vertical fin” or “horn” protruding upward, just behind the front where a pilot would sit. Perhaps this strange visual feature is intended to represent the legendary “Quetzalcoatl” or “Kukulkan” from ancient central America, who was once known as a “horned serpent” (see La_Venta_Stele_19_(Delange) ) when he lived on Earth long ago?

That landscape “airplane” even shows on its left a cheeky, humorous “grin”!

Finally if we study this same landscape from a different visual perspective, we can see a large white number “7” in the landscape, just to the right of where it appeared:

When combined with certain symbols from the new crop picture, namely 6 + 1 = 7 “circles” or a “star” at its centre, we might plausibly read this as “7-7” or “77” days from June 5, until a total solar eclipse takes place on August 21.

This was truly a masterful example of field art, which shows plants standing on the crop tramlines in many places, excellent and delicate lays of the fallen crop throughout (which could not have been made using “rope and boards”), and clever symbolism both within the patterned crop, as well as in landscape nearby (not far from the Uffington White Horse). One would have to be either blind, stupid or dishonest to argue that nothing remarkable just happened here, or as C.S. Lewis would say, a “miracle”.

Appendix 1. There will be “78 days” from when this crop picture appeared on June 4, 2017, until August 21 when our Earth and Moon will rotate slowly into alignment with the Sun, so as to produce a solar eclipse

There will be 78 days from when this crop picture appeared on June 4, until a total solar eclipse on August 21. Somewhat remarkably, a large, white number “7” in the landscape, just to the right of where it was drawn, may be combined with any of six numbers “8” in the crop picture itself (shown on the left below, and coloured red, blue or green) to suggest an identical time period of “7-8” or “78 days”:

Such symbols could also be read as “8-7” or “87 days”.

Three different landscape views of the Woolstone Hill crop picture, differing by 90o of rotation from one another, seem to suggest three different but complementary interpretations. In one view (please see above near the top of this page), we can see a "white rabbit looking at his watch". In another view (see above near the middle of this page), we can see the "front wheel of a space shuttle". Finally in this third view, we can see a suggestion of "78 days” between June 4 and a total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017.
