This formation below the Alton Barnes White Horse was the first

in a series of three dramatic and original formations by an

artist I call The Wingmaker.  The top part appears to be a disk

with feathery wings -- a highly stylized version of the Egyptian

winged sun -- and the lower bit looks very much like a

trilobite.
