Those controversial CARET diagrams and modern crop pictures: a series of visual comparisons

Two years ago in June of 2007, an anonymous engineer called “Isaac” posted a series of documents on the web, which were supposedly smuggled out of his workplace near Palo Alto in the 1980’s (see isaaccaret.fortunecity.com or www.earthfiles.com or www.earthfiles.com). The acronym for his secret workplace was “CARET” meaning Commercial Applications Research for Extra-terrestrial Technologies. Commenting on his work, Isaac wrote:

“The military were hard at work trying to understand extra-terrestrial artefacts which they had in their possession. By 1984, the CARET program was created with the aim of understanding extra-terrestrial technologies from the point of view of private industry.

In our technology, we use a combination of hardware and software. Yet their technology is more akin to a language, which can quite literally execute itself in the presence of a specific field. And their language consists of a series of symbols along with geometric forms, which fit together to form diagrams that are functional.

Once they are drawn on a suitable surface, in the presence of a certain field, those diagrams immediately begin to perform desired tasks. The extra-terrestrials could design such diagrams as quickly and easily as a human programmer could write a Fortran computer program.”

Wow, does that sound anything like modern crop pictures? Should we compare those CARET diagrams to the known library of modern crop pictures, to see whether we get a match?

Mike Reed noted a close similarity between certain CARET diagrams and the “pi to ten digits” crop picture that appeared at Barbury Castle on June 1, 2008 (see www.earthfiles.com):

A very close match! Yet could the crop picture which appeared at Barbury Castle in 2008 have been a hoax, based on CARET documents posted by Isaac one year earlier? No, that cannot really be the case, since a fairly similar geometric form had already appeared eighteen years earlier at Barbury Castle on July 17, 1991:

During the summer of 2009, two more CARET-type drawings appeared in crops. First at Windmill Hill on May 25, 2009, a spectacular astronomical crop picture pointed to an upcoming lunar eclipse on July 7, 2009:

It also resembled one of those CARET diagrams, as shown on the left above.

Then at Tidcombe on August 16, 2009, another astronomical crop picture seemed to tell how many full Moons (40) were left until December of 2012:

Once again, it seemed to resemble one of those CARET diagrams, as shown on the left above.

In summary, we have found here four close matches between CARET diagrams from 1984 (or 2007), and modern crop pictures from 1991 to 2009. Quite plausibly, could the same group of extra-terrestrials have made both?
