A Car related crop circle anomalies. Crop Circle related anomalies, events and permanent images ingrained in car window glass associated with East Field Alton Barnes crop circles in 1998 and 1999. Report updated Nov. 2010. . In late August 1998 following the discovery of “The Cetus Conjunction” (Google this title for full story), predicted by the “Galaxy” crop formation of July 1994 at West Stowell Wilts., I made my first ever visit to Pewsey Vale curious to view the site of the formation. Later, parking the car at Knap Hill above the East Field, I set off to walk the circuit around Milk Hill via Adams Grave and the Pewsey White Horse returning to the locked car after about 90 minutes. Anomaly No.1. Sabotage. I had with me hot coffee and some biscuits and sat in the driving seat enjoying my snack I noticed between my feet a small piece of moulded very hard black plastic, roughly triangular shaped which had obviously broken off something. I checked the dashboard and the interior of the car but nothing appeared to be missing and I popped the item into the glove compartment, slightly mystified as to its source, and set off for home . Anomaly No.2. Navigational Error. My route to East Sussex took me eastwards towards London along the M4 Motorway. and I soon realized that my usually very reliable magnetic car compass fixed to the bottom of the windscreen was reading due west. When I later turned south onto the M25 the compass read due north. The instrument’s orientation had been completely reversed from its normal polarity. Anomaly No.3. Chilled Out The above events happened on a Friday during hot weather. The following Monday I had occasion to go to Manchester. The journey was mostly by motorway and the weather had turned cold with light rain. On the first few miles of motorway I discovered that I was unable to close off the cold draught from the dashboard right hand ventilator and had to wedge my cap over it to stop the discomfort. Arrived at my destination, my mother’s house, I dismantled the offending ventilation unit to find that a part of the internal black plastic operating lever had been snapped off. The missing bit was of course the piece I had found between my feet at Knap Hill. These operating levers require only light finger pressure to move them. Due to the previous spell of hot weather the vents had been untouched and permanently open for some days. I have no explanation for the damage. Anomaly No.4, The Car Circles. De-mistifying The following day Tuesday, after shopping at a local market, Mum and I sat in the car for a while drinking our flask of hot coffee. The weather was still cold and damp and condensation formed on the inside of all the windows. While wiping this ‘misting’ away I noticed a strange image on the glass panel of the drivers side rear door. It appeared as a white lined diagram against the greyish condensation. The best verbal description I have is that it consisted of two concentric circles with lines projecting up to the left at about 45 degrees. The overall impression was of something like the outline of a ‘toilet roll’ in perspective. The dimensions were roughly the same. The image was much too precise to have been formed by a mischievous finger and my Mum had remained in the car during the whole shopping expedition. At the age of 90 years she was unlikely to have clambered into the back seat to make the image. There was nothing in the immediate surroundings to account for it and mistified, I wiped it away. Later the same day I made a sketch from memory which I still have. I never saw the image again; ------- until very recently ! Sequel All is revealed. The Circle Images are about 5 inches (130mm ) actual size outer diameter. December the 7th 2004, I went to a local outdoor market and parked my car, now six years older, in the adjacent outdoor car park. There had been an early morning frost and the air was still cold when I returned to the car after about 90 minutes. There were a couple of damp cloths in the car used to wipe off the earlier frost etc. and the moisture had caused the windows to mist up again. There, plain to see outlined in the condensation was the ‘toilet roll’ image last seen in 1998. on the same glass pane as before. This stunned me a little but this time I had a loaded camera with me and was able to take photos. I did not wipe away the image, hoping to retain it for my son to see at home later. However at home 20 minutes later it was no longer visible. The following week, on the same day, I returned to the market and parked in roughly the same place. There had been early frost again and returning at about 11-30 am to the car, there was the image again!. I took more photos and when I got home tried to recreate the image but without success. Both sets of photos, when developed and printed show the image, though not very clearly. I have shown the pictures to many people. No one so far can recall seeing anything similar anywhere or can offer any rational explanation for their presence. Pondering later on all this, I thought that perhaps the reason I was unable to revive the image by recreating condensation was that the external air temperature had risen around lunch time to a point where the external surface of the glass was not cold enough and that I needed to repeat the experiment on the next frosty morning. Over Christmas I did just this and this time captured the best image yet seen, very quickly, just by breathing on the inside of the glass panel. This is the image on the above photo.
This more detailed and sharper photo see above, has however revealed more mystery. There are actually two images to be seen. The right hand design is the clearer and does indeed look like the outlines of a ‘toilet roll’ seen in perspective. Behind it, higher to the left is an identical image of which only the rear concentric circles and some incomplete lines can be seen. This image, which for reasons explained below, I call the first image, seems to be partly overlaid by the clearer one. I have a tentative possible explanation. I think that the first partly obscured image is the one I saw in 1998 following the anomalous event at the Knap Hill car park. It is as I remember it, higher up and more central in the glass door panel. The second sharper image is I suspect related to another similar event again at the Knap Hill car park in the following year, 1999. White patches and streaks other than the cylinder outlines are reflections in the glass from bright surroundings. My brother was over from New Zealand and we visited the Wiltshire crop circle hot spots on our way back to my home after two weeks holiday in the West Country. It was early August and parked at Knap Hill we walked around two recent formations in East Field and also walked the Milk Hill / Adams Grave circuit. Arriving back at the car we found that my car compass had apparently been partly dismantled. The compass carries a small AAA sized battery in its base to provide illumination by a small bulb in darkness switched on by a push button in the cover of the battery compartment. This compartment was empty. The battery was found on the back seat and the push button cap was later found on the back window shelf. There is a small coiled spring in the battery compartment to push the battery against the bulb but because of its location and weak strength it just could not have propelled the battery the four foot distance to the back seat Also the cap to the compartment is a tight fit and in something like 10 years of use it has never become detached accidentally. Later, on the M4 motorway, traveling home, we found that again the compass orientation was completely reversed. We have no sensible explanation for this second set of Knap Hill Anomalies. The very recent revealing of two ‘car circle’ images now suggests to me that they relate to the two separate Knap Hill events. Until a better explanation is forthcoming I have to believe they are directly connected with some phenomena which ‘interfered’ inside my car on two occasions. I also have to think that other cars parked at Knap Hill or in the area may also have been ‘examined’. Other owners, without realizing, may have similar images formed, like watermarks in paper, in their glass panels. In normal circumstances they are invisible. The glass has an absolutely normal appearance to sight and touch. It can be thoroughly washed with any type of cleaner then dried and polished but the ingrained images remain and can be quickly revealed when the outside air temperature is below around 10 degrees C, just by breathing on the inside surface. It has been suggested that the images result from the original manufacturing process, some kind of toughening or annealing system which occasionally leaves such marks in the structure of the glass. I think this unlikely, the images are too strange to be due to such processes and they are not on the other glass panels I would be grateful for a more rational explanation, if one exists, and also for any information from anyone who has seen something similar anywhere anytime. After writing the above which was published on line in “Swirled News” in May 2005, by Andy Thomas, and receiving no feedback whatsoever or any plausible explanation from the many people who have seen the images, including engineers and scientists, I approached the manufacturers of the car windows. I discovered that the widows were made in Finland by a process licensed by the French industrial giant “St. Gobain”. I e-mailed both the latter and Rover Car Company Engineering Departments. Neither could account for the phenomenon. . St. Gobain France replied by e-mail that a molecular change to the structure of the glass where the image occurs could account for the image and why condensation reveals it and also said that non of their manufacturing processes can have caused it. Rover Engineers replied that suction devices (a suggested cause) were not used during car windows assembly and they too could not account for the images. I parted with my old Rover car some four years ago but before doing so I dismantled the affected car door window and I still have it. Over the years on cold winter days I have checked the glass by allowing it to cool down outdoors then bringing it indoors and holding it over a bowl of hot water. The images never fail to appear and did so again on a further check this week, 17th Nov. 2010. I still have no idea of what created them but I do have a tentative explanation which of necessity I think has to be considered paranormal due to the lack to date of any normal explanation. My theory arrived at after some 12 years of consideration is that there is a non human intelligence associated with most crop formations, which by attracting us into and around them is studying us and any technology we happen to carry with us. The specific agents of the intelligence are normally invisible to the receptors of human eyes by use of a cloaking technology beyond our current knowledge. Occasionally the system mal-functions and we catch glimpses of moving light phenomena, the “BOLs”etc. I think one of these information collecting BOL agents was routinely examining the four or five cars in the Knap Hill off road car park and was particularly interested in the magnetic field created by the four directional adjustment magnets in the base of my car compass. The detection of this field provoked an entry into the car effected by use of unknown to us technology which modifies the molecular structure of glass thereby allowing the through passage of the BOL agent energy and its then manipulation of items in the car. Both the 1998 and the 1999 images embedded in the glass are the evidence of the intrusions. I feel certain that other cars parked near crop circles must have been examined but owners have not noticed any evidence or have not seen any significance in any traces of such intrusion. A fellow amateur researcher with many years experience of visiting formations has told of returning to his then new car parked close to a formation and having to have it towed to a garage because of its failure to start. The engine control unit was found to have a burned out electronic component for which the garage could not offer an explanation or a cause Perhaps it was a similar ET examination event. I think that UFOs and crop circles are closely related phenomena. The evidence that both are a paranormal reality is now beyond doubt in spite of the activities of debunker hoaxers and skeptics, many funded and directed by very worried impotent governments. There is some historical evidence that earth has had extra terrestrial visitors for a very long time and I think that their visits have intensified since we drew serious attention to ourselves by the exploding nuclear devices at the end of WW2 The recent UFO Disclosures Conference Oct.27. 2010, at the US National Press Club which revealed irrefutable evidence of UFO deactivations of US ICBMs indicates that our visitors see our possession of nuclear weapons as dangerous to their interests as well as to our planet. Our Earth its environment and its life is being studied .Our visitors have their own agenda. It does not appear to be malevolent except in the incidences of continuing world wide mutilations of our domestic animals, probably for some kind of genetic research, They are offering us ‘gifts’ year after year in the form of astonishingly beautiful and elaborate crop formations some of them containing mathematical formula or astronomical predictions which show a common understanding and knowledge of our science, an apparently friendly approach to humanity. We may be seeing a long term process of a vastly older and technically superior E.T. race introducing itself to us gently, aware that sudden full frontal confrontation would create world upheaval. We have only been allowed fleeting glimpses of them so far. However it may be that while they do not intend to colonize us or interfere with earth ecology and cultures they are exploiting our resources, perhaps water and minerals in ways we are not aware of and they do seem to be searching for our technical and scientific knowledge of possible interest to them, surreptitiously and unseen using abilities beyond our current understanding . The Crabwood Farm Binary Code Disc formation and message of 2002 is evidence of their knowledge of how our computers function. This means they probably have full access to the internet and are able to read all it contains including all governments defense and security information. A worrying thought if their motives are not benign. It appears certain that there are developments yet to come. Jack Sullivan November 2010. Additional Case Study 12/05/2015 PARADISE ACRES, Ossian, Iowa, USA - On Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the early evening, I noticed what looked to be condensation in the center of a window pane on a door that leads out to the back deck - facing the west. In the middle of the "condensation" were two perfect circles - each with eight detached "spokes." I asked my significant other, Tammy, how long that image had been there; and she said most of the afternoon. I went over to see if the "condensation" and circles were on the inside or the outside of the window. They definitely weren't on the inside; so I opened the door and on the outside, rubbed on the outer edge of the condensation border with my index finger. It didn't immediately come off, and so at first I thought that maybe this condensation/image might actually be between the thermopanes. Nevertheless as I continued to rub with greater force (kind of like the pressure you'd use when trying to remove a lime deposit on bathtub,) a bit of the "condensation" along the periphery of the image gradually came off. It was definitely not like wiping off water condensation on a fogged up pane, rather the image almost seemed as though it was etched into the glass. At the time I first noticed this perplexing image, Tammy and I had been preparing to head to a nearby town to grab a bite to eat; so we soon departed. When we returned an hour or so later, I eagerly headed back to the deck door to further investigate this interesting image, but it was completely gone - absolutely no trace of it. We kicked ourselves that we hadn't taken a photo before we left! The next day there was still no sign of it. Two days later, I shined a black light on the window and tried steaming it up with my breath (like you do with a pair of glasses) to see if any remnant of the image reappeared - but nothing. I Googled: "strange circles on window pane" and got a couple hits - but nothing substantial. There was one comment on a paranormal forum in which someone mentioned that these could be images from suction cups used to position glass. But this door has been there 25+ years, and over the years the window has been washed dozens of times inside and out; and there has never been an image like this appear on the pane in all that time Four days later on Monday, April 27 while I was out of town, Tammy noticed that the circles had returned! This time she grabbed the camera, so now we have PROOF that we're not losing our minds! Could this be a variation on crop circles but only on a window pane?! Fortunately they returned on April 27, so thanks to Tammy’s photographs (below) we don’t have to reply on our memories.
