An important discovery of “new physics”, due to visual
clues given by “spinning ion-propulsion” crop pictures
This new device only “shoots out” ionized argon gas as “thrust”,
when it is supplied with a high-voltage DC electric field, and
also when a strong DC magnetic field is located nearby.
The ejection of spinning argon gas (blue)
is due solely to magnetic forces, between a DC magnetic field
from (say) a permanent magnet, and a spin-induced DC
magnetic field, created by fast-spinning argon cations and
electrons:

“Detailed physics of the magnetic space propeller” :-
WATCH
When we ionize and spin argon gas in a magnetic field, fast-moving
electrons (which spin just inside the outer positive-electrode) create
their own induced magnetic field, which
gets pulled by magnetic forces into the
centre of a permanent ring-magnet nearby.
Argon cations likewise get pulled along with
the negative electrons, by attractive electric forces of “plus” and
“minus”, even though they are much more massive than electrons.
Fairly simple physics, but nobody knew before! This has the potential to
be a new form of ion-propulsion for space travel, when applied at much
higher voltages and energies. It was first drawn clearly in crops near
Milk Hill in May of 1999, but was not explained lucidly in crops until
Bohdankov in July of 2018.
Further studies by many skilled engineers will be needed to turn this
preliminary discovery into a new and practical form of space travel, say
between Earth and Mars. Who wants to fly to Mars in a
“chemical rocket” which can blow up under your feet? Somebody
please advise Elon.
Best wishes to all, and with many thanks to the crop artists, Red Collie
