The new crop picture at Zeals Knoll on July 5, 2026
seems to have been inspired by a “TV screen” type of image in
the landscape just below, on the other side of a road, of “six
stars” resembling the Pleiades M45 cluster |
Zeals Knoll of July 5, 2026 seems to have been based on an approximate
“landscape image” of the Pleiades star cluster not far below (as seen on
Google Earth).
Everything has been aligned precisely, as shown in the slide below. We
would not expect the Zeals landscape image to match the real M45 except
approximately! A lot of people use TV screens on their telescopes.
A close match between the crop picture and the real, telescopic image of
M45 has also now been confirmed beyond any doubt.
