A crop picture which appeared near Milk Hill on May 25, 2017 shows a “cross” and “crown” with possible religious implications. Yet several other interpretations are possible, including astronomical symbols for a solar eclipse on August 21, 2017, a “fidget spinner”, and some “flying orbs” which were seen during a UFO battle over Nuremberg, Germany in 1561.

A crop picture which appeared near Milk Hill on May 25, 2017 shows a “cross” and “crown”, which might suggest a religious interpretation. That two-part symbol is used by Christian churches worldwide (see Cross_and_Crown). May 25 was “Ascension Day” in the Christian religion.

Yet several other interpretations are possible. For example, it also resembles a standard drawing of our “Earth and Moon” orbiting the “Sun”:

This version of the astronomical drawing shows four “arms”. There will be four “new Moons” before the next total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017: first on May 25 when the crop picture appeared, next on June 23, then on July 23, and finally on August 21 when the eclipse will take place.

A four-armed “fidget spinner”

As a humorous interpretation, this crop picture resembles a popular toy called the “fidget spinner”, specifically a version with four arms (see whitehorse comments or  www.youtube.com). Instead of a “pendulum clock” for lunar cycles, as we saw drawn at Cherhill on April 17, 2017, now we see that four lunar cycles seem to be “spinning” in an anti-clockwise direction around the “Sun”!

Perhaps the unseen crop artist is “fidgeting” and impatient, while waiting for the next solar eclipse to arrive?

A “crown” with seven small half-circles

What about that “crown” near the top? There we can see seven small half-circles, which follow a thin circular arc of 120o. Following an astronomical interpretation, this “crown” could represent several “Baily’s beads of light”, which we may see soon along the surface of our Moon, during the solar eclipse of August 21, 2017:

The outer borders of our Sun are called “corona” meaning “crown” (see Corona).

In support of the astronomical interpretation, this crop picture points toward where a partial solar eclipse will be visible in southern England on August 21, 2017

When we look to see where this new crop picture was drawn, we find that its “crown” of seven semi-circles is oriented in the field toward the northwest. Our Sun will set there, late on the afternoon of August 21, while a solar eclipse is in progress:

Four-armed “flying orbs” were seen over Nuremberg, Germany in 1561

As a fourth interpretation, this crop picture resembles some four-armed “flying orbs”, which were seen during a UFO battle over Nuremburg, Germany in 1561 (see www.youtube.com):

Several coded messages, sent from friendly UFO occupants to a military contactee “C.J.” in 2015, included the latitude and longitude of Nuremberg, Germany as a putative base for time travellers in our distant future (see article or   article).

P.S. Many thanks to Matthew Williams for an excellent drone video (see www.youtube.com) and wonderful 360o aerial photos (see photos and photos).
