for Radiotherapy Unit at Swindon Hospital is going well.
CGI has
now boosted the fund by over £5000 in around a month and we are
now going for the almost unthinkable big 6K as we have about a
week before harvest. Please help by donating a few pounds

donate to 70070. Whether you personally believe in Radiotherapy
as a treatment is not the point here. For someone who has
cancer, this Unit will bring HOPE also which is everything.
Travelling all the way to Oxford can be a nightmare!
The Eagle CC at Uffcott Down is
now all open and posts removed.
We keep being asked for
photos so we have decided to laminate
some aerials and offer them at the gate for donation to help with the
fund.
We
did speak to our dear friend James Hussey, the
farmer of this CC field at Uffcott. He informed us
that his wife Gill had sadly passed away last
November and wished for all donations to go direct
to The Radiotherapy Unit at Great Western Hospital
via the links given here;
Gill Hussey is fundraising on Just Giving for The
Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Charitable Fund rather than through any other
fundraising agencies. Alternatively, any groups that
wish to visit this CC should bring donations (larger
amounts) direct to him in person at the farm, others
to leave a generous donation of at least £3 per head
in the secure box provided within the CC. James told
us any future CC he has on his land can be managed
by CGI to raise funds for this worthwhile cause. We
feel our presence is not so needed on this
occasion.
We (at CGI) got to know the
Husseys well since managing a CC of theirs at
Hackpen Hill three years ago and so naturally it was
with utter shock that we heard the news. We felt the
CC itself was extremely poignant being in the
form of a ROSE, a symbol of love placed on their
land by the Makers and a wonderful tribute to Gill's
memory. Of course non of us could possibly
appreciate the significance of the design before the
news was told. If I had any reservations regarding
the interactive nature of the CCs before, they are
now gone!

Please, an appeal to ALL
WILTSHIRE FARMERS. An idea to view Crop Circles as a
resource rather than a nuisance? Perhaps think
twice, then once more before cutting a CC?...but
said respectfully; we understand your position.
However, if managed well and free of charge, eg. by
CGI, it WILL make a difference to people like Gill.
At the Hackpen Hill CC around £2400 was raised.
Swindon desperately needs this Radiotherapy Unit as
Oxford is such a distance!
James Hussey has just informed
Crop Circle Connector that there are envelopes at the at the
donation box. Could British Nationionals please fill out their
address if they are UK tax payers as the tax will be added to
the donation by the Inland Revenue and then place their donation
in the envelope along with this information.
Despite strenuous
negotiations and talking to many
farmers, including Mr Farthing and
Mr White, in the traditional
Wiltshire crop circle areas. The
farmers have told us that any CCs
that occur within the domain (i.e..
near Avebury) and from Hackpen Hill
right through to The Sanctuary on
the A4) will be forbidden, denied
access and immediately destroyed.
THEY DO NOT WISH FOR, NOR ARE THEY
ASKING FOR DONATIONS from any fund
raising organisations. Sad news but
at least we now know definitively
the farmers position, at the very
least just here.
All we can do here is to respect the
farmer's wishes.
The Core
Group Initiative or CGI was
launched 4 years ago and seems
to be going from strength to
strength. It’s key value is one
of respect for the farmers and
the land on which they work. We
regard unauthorized access as
unacceptable and old fashioned.
This is the very thing that has
caused so much trouble in the
past commonly resulting in the
farmer cutting out the CCs. We
believe the CCs are encouraging
us towards a higher level of
consciousness of which respect
is primary.

Colin Andrews rushed
by ambulance to Yale
Hospital with rare
condition. Intensive
Care update.

On Wednesday 25th, March,
Author-Researcher, Colin
Andrews was taken by
ambulance with a very rare

I have recently been informed by the
manager of the Sixpenny Handley
farm estate that a good portion of
the monies collected by CGI this
summer will go towards a
defibrillator (AED or Automated
External Defibrillator) fund, the
device to be kept in or nearby the
local Post Office. This is exactly
what I’ve been talking about…
translating crop circles into
something tangible, positive and
practical for the local community. I
said we would be very glad to
collect additional monies to realise
the purchase should the estate have
another CC next season. For those
who don’t know what a defibrillator
is, it is a device to shock the
heart out of spasm should anyone go
into cardiac arrest. The main
hospital is in Shaftsbury some
distance away so early intervention
like this usually makes all the
difference between life and death. I
feel very encouraged by this
development as you can imagine. If
people can equate CCs with something
of real value rather than a negative
they may be far more tolerant and
things in the future could go much
smoother.

of the CGI group for all their hard
work in bringing the farming
community in Dorset together with
crop circle phenomenon so as people
can visit the circles with the
farmers permission. This is very
hard and dedicated work carried out
by Paul Jacobs. A breath of fresh
air unlike the dreadful situation in

The Love Affair is Over!
The farmers of
Wiltshire have made it quite clear
that they have had enough. Thirty
years of invasion and disrespect has
taken its toll. The ‘Makers’ are
increasingly taking their work to
more fertile ground, knowing that
the Wiltshire ‘love affair’ is over
and no longer tenable. I believe
the farming community is quite aware
that as a result of this position
the Wiltshire tourist industry will
indeed suffer. As enterprises such
as B&B, pubs, hotels, tea rooms and
merchandising will lose trade as a
result.
CGI respect and
support the farmer’s
wishes and make recommendations
where appropriate, which they find
helpful and thank us for. The goose
that laid the golden egg has now had
its day and it looks like all the
folks that exploited the Wiltshire
CCs will have to review their
position. Also a so called ‘permit
scheme’ fronted by a Dutch
woman and an Australian guy seems to
have been the catalyst for this
change. These people
played right into the official hands
driven by ego and self-interest.
All the
sycophantic support afforded to said
folly scheme are now left looking
quite ridiculous as their misguided
hopes and dreams from more money and
popularity have been flushed right
down the proverbial ‘Swanee River’
in a very leaky boat indeed. These
are merely observations that all
this really does seem like the stuff
of black comedy, where some appear
to take themselves far too
seriously! The genetics of this
long term in-bred, self-interested,
sometimes tribal culture really does
now seem to be just a little bit old
fashioned. Perhaps its time for
some new DNA, some ‘new blood’ with
a fresh new approach - self-aware
and perhaps of a more spiritual
nature. There is one thing we can
all know, be in no doubt, it is the
Makers that are in charge here. No
matter what we do or little schemes
that we try to assert, it will be
them that makes the final choice.
Reflections upon Wiltshire from
a Dorset Perspective.
I’ve been ensconced down in Dorset
for a week now doing CGI work at the gate. The energy down here is pure
and joyous. There are no undercurrents or people with agendas to speak
of and the locals have embraced this amazing CC event with a fresh and
untainted perspective, welcomed it and are incorporating it into their
social calendar. The farmer’s mother baked me a cake yesterday, which
gives you an idea. It is so refreshing and a great relief after all the
political nonsense that has prevailed in Wiltshire for so long and came
to a head last season. Nonsense is still persisting this season as all
the precious contenders fight to protect their own interests. It feels
very sad.
Being away and having an
opportunity to reflect is useful as one is not caught up in the heat of
it all. I see something unravelling, falling apart, something that is
well overdue. It is common knowledge within the CC community that which
is brought unto the CCs is amplified, made more and this now actually
seems to be happening in Wiltshire. There have been no credible or
significant CCs up there to date and the one they did get their hands on
has now been trashed by persons unknown. A long time trader and mis-informer
has now been made to look a complete fool and put into a position
whereby he is operating out of a metal cargo container in the grounds of
a well-known pub in The Vale which …wait for it…has a black shop window
mannequin standing on the roof! This I find quite disturbing actually
despite sounding amusing. This setup hardly resonates well with the
spirit of the CCs as it feels and looks very ‘dark’. A scheme to peddle
so called ‘crop circle permits’ just refuses to work for a second year
after being advised from the beginning the formulation was quite
unworkable. This scheme was media hyped and not surprisingly backed by
all the long-time people with vested interests who are now I imagine, or
should be, becoming somewhat disillusioned by this folly.
So, Wiltshire wise, the house of
cards really does seem to be a ’falling down. Most of the front line
characters involved except WCCSG, I have to say seem to be more interested in
themselves and money than the evolution, beauty and message of the CCs.
None of them can see the sense of CGI, or have conveyed this to me and
have never shown an interest, yet it is the scheme that is working well.
I find this very interesting.
Dorset on the other hand is all
positivity and light…all good energies. It’s almost as if the
Circlemakers have had enough of all this ‘people nonsense’ and are
choosing to place their work where people are more receptive and
untainted by bad energies. Like darkness and light, love and hate the
light and love, in the long run as we all know, will prevail. Perhaps
this shift is the real meaning of 2012, a renaissance towards more
purity, a rebirth.

The Joke
of the Crop Circle - are crop circle

This
question is the basis of the second crop circle
book by Robert Boerman. In 'The Joke of the Crop
Circle' the author assumes that all crop circles
are made by people. Crop circles are man-made
and step-by-step it is explained how can make a
crop circle him/herself.
Along the way it becomes clear in the book that
some matters can simply not be explained,
because what to think of all those biophysical
deviations that have been found in crop circles?
Deviations that have also been found in wind
damage and in a wheat field without circle. And
why are crop circles made on leylines and what
role do light spheres play? Or do we have to
speak off dust particles? Can the growth of
wheat be manipulated or does that have something
to do with the frequencies that have been
measured in crop circles. Does professor
Meaden's plasma vortex theory play a role and
what does the creation of crop circles have to
do with an American invention? Is there a link
between both subjects and Haselhoff's light
sphere theory?
In 'The Joke of the Crop Circle' several matters
are discussed that don't seem to have anything
to do with each other at first glance, though by
combining them the author has achieved to give a
whole new look of the crop circle phenomenon.

Some of
Levengood's crop circle plant findings have been replicated by
two other scientists, but the strongest overall substantiation
of Levengood's work comes from the Laurance Rockefeller-funded
"Clay Mineral XRD Study" conducted on a 1999 Edmonton, Canada
crop formation (http://www.bltresearch.com/xrd.php).
WCL's participation in this study was limited to his typical
plant work and examination of soil samples for the presence of
magnetic material. Of the four scientists involved in the XRD
study, Levengood was the only one who had ever even heard of a
crop circle—a protocol specifically designed to avoid any
possibility of "experimenter bias." Also, none of the
scientists involved knew each other or had any contact during
the study.

On the Edge of
Reality: Hidden Technology, Powers of the Mind, Quantum Physics,

One of CGI’s aims right now is to rekindle the magic of the crop circles
that some feel has been somewhat overshadowed by farmer/visitor
relations in recent years. Another is to change the public’s perception
of the crop circles by association with good and charitable causes
including the voluntarily collection of donations for the farmer’s
chosen charity. In this way the local community will soon see that CC’s
are not such a negative thing after all as they will realise they can
generate relatively large sums of money and will see CC’s as a resource
rather than a hindrance. Already this year we have raised 1000’s of
pounds for such causes.
Compensation for farmers’ loss is of course an issue but my
understanding is, and the view of many farmers, invasion and
damage is more of a concern. To intelligently manage land,
people and traffic issues around CC sites is of obvious benefit
to farmers who can then get on with the job of farming knowing
their interests are being looked after. This is what CGI do, we
act as farmer advocates but also help to educate and inform the
visiting public in the process. Visitor opinion and endorsement
of our activities seems to be most positive and feels almost
overwhelming at times. They say this philosophy and practice
resonates so well with the spirit of the CC phenomenon. Needless
to say I feel very hopeful for the future despite this year,
thus far, being a little low on numbers.

charities on their behalf. Paul took this photo and as you can see there
is a happy group of crop circle visitors around his vehicle at Silbury
Hill, Wiltshire. Paul's covering text - 'I thought your readers may wish

Collection/gathering Point' sited currently at Silbury Hill car park.
As you can see from the photo, this ...facility is very popular and
gaining pretty much 100% support from the visiting public. There is
always such a happy vibe here mainly I think because all seem to
resonate with the charitable principles and philosophy of the CGI which
is at it's core. All the money collected will go straight to the
benevolently minded Silbury Hill farmers charity namely, in this
particular case repairing the lovely historic St. James' church at
Avebury. It is CGI's goal to fund the complete restoration of this
building. The Dorothy House Hospice is another popular recipient of
donations from Crop circles. All see this as part of a healing process
between the farming community and Crop circles visitors and giving CCs a
better reputation in the community which is essential if local harmony
is to be achieved.
Additionally, my old van seems to be acting as a focus for the evolving
Mobile Info Post where we are hopefully able to give all up to the
minute news on events relating to the Crop circle world. The little lawn
at Silbury seems to be becoming a gathering point for CC enthusiasts and
is always so full of joy. We must be doing something right!
Some information relating to security. Yesterday we got word of an
attempted break in to a car at The Sanctuary car park. Luckily the
thieves where interrupted and fled. There was another more successful
break in at Cherhill and police have a full description of the culprits.

There is much that could be said on this
extremely sad day but for now I would like to say how sorry I am
for the family loss.
Against
all efforts to attend today, the severe snow storm in
Connecticut and the North East of the United States has beaten
me.
Reg was
a good friend and best-man at Synthia and my wedding, he was
also a kind generous person, who sadly has departed ahead of
time.
I am honoured to have spent some of my
fondest life’s memories with him and his lovely family.
The
subjects that primarily connected us were those of my
professional studies i.e. Research into the paranormal, crop
circles, UFOs and human consciousness. Reg and I also felt
strongly about the planet and what we are doing to it and we
both held strong views on modern politics.
To be in the
privileged company of a man with such talents as Reg could be
easily under-estimated because for all the fame that he earned,
he remained very grounded and dare I say normal. He was a
sincere, loving and honest human being and to step out and
action his passions, courageous too.
The bottom
line for me that speaks centrally to his character and
personality was that he was a person who cared and some of his
biggest hit songs spoke to how much.
He cared
about our planet, wildlife, people and children. He loved Karen
and Jason, his two children who stood on two very tall pinnacles
in his eyes. His family was the epicenter of his life and Bren
was his every other word. His hit: ‘With a Girl Like You’
is a tribute to that fact and will reverberate in the ethers
forever.
He was a
larger than life character who filled any room he was in, in
some instances any hill-top too. We would be stood staring into
the sky at some UFO hot-spot. Karen, Busty and myself, and
occasionally Bren would get dragged along too, to enjoy the
stars, lighten up a bit, and hope to see ET at the same time.
Unbelievably that has happened too but all in a nights work for
Reg. An evening on the hill would inevitably be followed by
dinner, all on Reg, at the Indian Restaurant.
Reg was a funny
man who enjoyed putting real human events into his own words and
joke form which would usually transpose unpleasant events into
reflections of ourselves from which we could laugh.
He was also
very curious with an opinion on most things and was not afraid
to express them. He once telephoned me to tell me about a new
profound idea he had that society could function without money,
not knowing that a couple years later it would !!!! - just the
kind of thing Reg’s jokes were made of.
Love is the only
thing in the Universe that is real and not an emotion in
progress. It is the glue of life that creates everlasting
development. It is the creative force with which we can make a
difference to our world and our surroundings. Reg left us with
“Love is all around” and now we must ensure that is so.

Bradley, Millie, Max, Jazmine and Guy. All of Reg’s friends and
his great band ‘The Troggs’, Synthia and I are thinking
of you.

My
intention for interpreting the Crop Circles as
Fine Art is to extend the rather elite audience
of people who are currently interested in them.
I believe our Crop Circles are produced by more
advanced beings who are trying to help us.
Consequently, I see them as the most important
art work on the planet. Some of their messages
seem to speak to us subconsciously, while others
express more urgent encouragement, for us to
raise our consciousness to a higher frequency
ASAP. Many of our greatest minds have also drawn
similar conclusions.
Some feel
that when they focus on these sacred geometric
images, it affects their subconscious mind in a
very positive way, and actually enhances their
DNA. The artwork that we select for our
environment usually represents a mystery
regarding our concept of reality. What mystery
could be more important at this time, than the
messages in the crop Circles?!!!

The alleged claims and photographs
presented by Robbert van den Broeke have just been brought to our
attention. As the family of Paul Vigay we feel that it would have
been common courtesy for us to have been informed directly, before
it being published around the internet and becoming part of a public
controversy. We feel that no sensitivity or respect has been shown
to the families of the four men who are currently the subjects of
these claims and this is upsetting.
We would like to echo the objections
which we have read in the statement from Pat Delgado's family. We
believe these alleged reports to be false and find it hard to
believe that anyone would take them at all seriously.
We do not recognise Paul in the
message Robbert van den Broeke claims to have come from him and do
not believe that it would be Paul's wish for his name and his image
to be used in this way. This appears to be a disingenuous attempt at
political point scoring, abusing the truth and reputations of our
loved ones to try and add value and status to the personal work of
Robbert van den Broeke and Nancy Talbott. If their work has truth
and value it does not need the defence of the dead who it is (in)conveniently
not possible to question on this matter.
I (Paul's sister) believe in a
spirit life as did my brother and would fully welcome any genuine
communication or evidence from my brother, either directly or
through a medium. In my opinion these reports do not provide any
such evidence and can only be damaging to the work of authentic
mediumship.
In his life, Paul worked with many
different people of many different and sometimes opposing
viewpoints, whilst maintaining and evaluating his own independent
thoughts and opinions in his research/search for truth about crop
circles and other issues. We cannot know where his research would
have developed and what his views would be in current debates. It is
insulting to his integrity for him to be used to add weight to some
kind of personal attack against his former friend and colleague,
Colin Andrews.

You might wish to
post this sad news. Tlakakelel was a great follower of the crop
circles and your website. I've posted a tribute the last couple of
hours here:
I am so sorry there has been such
a long silence, this is due to a spell in hospital. I am now up and
running again and rearing to go. Pictures will soon be appearing again
on my web site.
The weather has been wet and cold
for the last 3 weeks and even though we had had a few circles the season
hasn’t really started in earnest yet. I have great expectations for this
year which I believe may reveal many hidden events and surprises.
I am currently writing a book with
polymath Jim Lyons and the provisional title is `Beyond the Crop Circle
Paradigm`. It is going to be an amazing book, scientifically based and
will break many ill conceived conventional ideas, taking us to new areas
of understanding based on the physics of the natural world.
Now onto something which is of
serious concern to me:
In order to comply with CAA
regulations, I am hoping to fly with West helicopters, a highly skilled
and professional outfit based at Thruxton, Nr Andover.
West helicopters is a subsidiary of HeliAir, based at Wellesbourne,
Warwickshire.
“However to do this I urgently
need to raise a minimum of £7000 or US$ 11, 000. I am asking you if you
would please be as generous as you possibly can so that I can continue
to take pictures for all those who enjoy visiting my web site; also in
order to continue with my research. It has always been my desire and
belief that my photograph library should be free for all to view.
However circumstances have become very difficult with the insistance
upon commercial flights being used, which of course are extremely
expensive.
It would break my heart if I had
to walk away from the phenomenon at this stage after over 20 years
involvement.
Another thing I will be doing in

Dutch Medium Robbert v/d Broeke "Sees" American Boy Making
a Circle - (May, 2011)
Upon receipt of a photo of a small grass
circle in Hardy, Virginia which had been sent to the BLT
Research Team Robbert immediately "saw" (in his "mind's
eye") a teenage boy with brownish-blonde hair (which went
down the back of his neck) making the circle. Robbert "saw"
that this boy was the local paper-boy and that his name was
"Mike." Investigation revealed that Robbert was spot-on.

Community Owned Barge Inn Honeystreet up and
running !!
It was
in August 2010 that with the help of a substantial grant from
the Big Lottery the local community purchased the lease of the
much loved Wiltshire pub The Barge Inn Honeystreet.
Since
that time with volunteer support from around the area and
internationally the pub has had an internal facelift that has
been welcomed and praised far and wide. The work was undertaken
over a five week period which ended in a fantastic musical bash,
‘Honeyfest ’on the 16th April.
Polly
Carson a volunteer director and local said, ‘We wanted and have
achieved a freshening of the image of our special pub whilst
retaining its uniqueness. Coupled with a brand new menu we are
continually receiving great complements.’
During
the refurbishments a linking archway was built between the
‘croppie room’ and the main bar area. This unavoidably damaged
the fantastic and famous ceiling Mural. Luckily the original
artist Vince Palmer was in the country and was commissioned to
repair and touch up the work.

Project was chosen as one of the six community enterprises
to win a large amount of Lottery Funding and become a part
of an exciting joint rural initiative between the Big
Lottery Fund (BIG) and AND LOANOND APPLICATION'
Even before he
sees his first crop circle, Matt, a down to earth student at
Bristol, is passionately interested in symbols. Who creates
these giant drawings in the fields? What messages do they hide?

REFLECTIONS OF A
SEASON
We came across
what seemed to be a small shrine in a formation that had
appeared late in the season. This inspired Stuart Dike to take
this opportunity to reflect on the whole crop circle phenomenon
in which he has been closely involved over many years. He
focuses on the 2009 season as it turned out to be one of the
most active to date. An abundance of formations had appeared
across the Southern English countryside. Many appeared to hold
mysterious messages and meanings within their designs. Our
latest DVD is a wonderful and thoughtful insight into this
amazing annual phenomenon.

immediacy and astonishment of the crop circle phenomenon to the viewer.
We will regularly film formations both from the air and the ground and
there will be video reports on events from long-time researchers Michael
Glickman and Gary King who have between them an aggregate of 35 year’s
research into the phenomenon.

are privileged here to be in the presence of the miraculous; we will

It is with great
sadness that we
learn of the passing of Nick
Nicholson. Nick was a friend of The Crop Circle Connector
and over the last 15 years
his great interest in photography has kept us supplied with
excellent photographs of the phenomenon from the air and from
the ground. Crop Circles had
caught Nick’s attention while he lived in Nottinghamshire and
his RAF experiences, which included a period of rocket training
in the USA, fired a deeper interest in this phenomenon’s
apparent connections with space. An interest and curiosity
which never abated.
His desire to
record and spread the word about crop circles led Nick to move
to Wiltshire, from where he published his own quarterly magazine
The Circular Review, which had an international
subscription base. For several years, in his efforts to inform
a wider public about this enduring and beautiful phenomenon, he
also organised his own Crop Circle Fayre at Alton Barnes.
Never
one to suffer a fool gladly, his famously ‘grumpy old man’
persona actually masked a kind, generous and humorous nature and
his presentations and his presence at the various Crop Circle
conferences was always greatly appreciated. Nick
was flying and taking pictures until the end of the 2009 season.
His illness was sudden and he was hospitalised in Swindon in
mid-September. After a brief battle
with cancer he was moved to Norfolk to be nearer his daughter
where he died
peacefully in his sleep on the evening of the 24th November -
surrounded by his family, to whom we extend the sympathies of
the entire crop circle community.
We will miss him
very much!

John A. Burke
November 13, 1951 - February 26, 2010
John A.
Burke, the "B" in "BLT Research Team Inc." and a native of
Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York, has died at the age of 58.
An inspired and tireless advocate for the likelihood that
natural (although currently undiscovered) forces are involved in
the crop circle phenomenon, John carried out a considerable
volume of new research during the 1990s, very much "behind the
scenes."
In 1995 he co-authored the peer-reviewed
paper "Semi-Molten Meteoric Iron Associated with a Crop
Formation" (J. Sci. Exploration) which presented evidence that
molten iron-rich deposits discovered in a 1993 crop circle had
been produced when meteoric dust, heated through interaction
with a descending plasma vortex, had impacted the field.
In conjunction with his crop circle work with
Michigan biophysicist W.C. Levengood John was instrumental in
developing the "MIR Stressguard"
process, a technique which replicated the BLT Team's discovery
that seeds taken from crop circles which had occurred in mature
plants grew both faster than normal and also produced increased
yield while simultaneously withstanding typical plant
stressors. Years of attempts by John to bring this technology
to the world's seed companies failed, because the financial
profits which could be anticipated were less than those garnered
by the current, genetic, approach.
During the last 10 years John had pursued
multiple other interests and in 2005 he and colleague Kaj
Halberg published their ground-breaking book "Seed of
Knowledge, Stone of Plenty"
which presented evidence that naturally-occurring earth energies
had been not only recognized, but utilized, by the ancient
megalith builders in multiple cultures around the world.
Reviewed by Boston University geologist Robert M. Schoch, the
book was praised as "utterly fascinating" and a new "approach to
understanding the mysteries of ancient megalithic structures."
Most recently John had been working on a
method to calibrate pain levels so that medical professionals
could more accurately provide relief of suffering. Animal
trials had been found effective and testing with humans was
being planned.
John, who had been long divorced, is survived
by four sisters and one brother, all of whom were with him when
he died. John was a pioneer….and I will miss him very much.

Miller crossed over on the 25th January 2010, after spending a
lovely evening with his beloved wife, Ba. We share this news with you
because he has meant so much to the Earth Mysteries and Dowsing
Community. During his life he has had an impact on all those that had
the pleasure of knowing him. His passion for life and the betterment of
our world will leave a lasting legacy.
He led a magical life and
lived it to the fullest and there is no doubt that his Spirit is in

Recording the crop circles as we do is not

The one-and-only Barge Inn,
(on the canal bank at Honeystreet, near Alton Barnes) centre of
all circle making actives and associated drinking, scheming, and
the preparation of many great crop circle deceptions of the last
17 years, is for sale. The back room contains a crop
circle gallery whose walls and ceiling are covered with circle
frescoes and designs. This pub has always been a tied house and
the brewery which owned it in Devizes used to appoint a manager
to run it. If they are selling the leasehold like this, maybe
the new owner will be able to make it a Free House?

passed away. Noon 23 May 2009.

1919 - 2009
Pat Delgado, famous for being the
person who started serious research into what became known as
crop circles, passed away at 8.30 AM (U.K.) today in Winchester
Hospital, Hampshire, England. Pat was a very young 90 years of
age, when cancer struck and took a very rapid toll in recent
weeks.
He was a compassionate and
sensitive human being, an excellent engineer and reputable
healer. He was a dear friend and my co-author who was largely
responsible for one of the happiest periods of my life.
I send my deepest and most sincere
condolences to Norah (his Wife), Jan (only Daughter) and Guy
(Grandson) who did all they could in such distressing
circumstances. Love to you all.

to many leading crop circle researchers, he was a wise humorous and
open presence, and he will be sorely missed.

PAUL VIGAY
Paul Vigay's body was found yesterday morning on the shore at
Southsea.
Paul was one of the brightest stars in the
crop circle universe. A talented mathematician, computer
technician and a maker of electronic gadgets, he was one of the
first researchers into the crop circle phenomenon in the early
1990's where his talents were quickly recognised. He had an
exceptional gift for investigation and often led the field in
deciphering the mathematical aspects found in certain crop
circles. His interests spread far beyond crop circles and he was
a keen explorer into other aspects of the Unexplained. He was
amazingly articulate and had a rare knack of being able
to explain technical details in the simplest language. He has
made a major contribution to the subject and his place will not
be easily filled.
He also made great contributions to the CCCS
and was also one of the founder members of UNEX.
He was a really super person, and a good
friend who I have known for 19 happy years. Many have been the
times when we have been into the fields together. He had a
great sense of humour and I have never heard him utter a cross
word.
I will miss him greatly, his bright ideas and
just for being himself.
Please remember his family in your thoughts
and prayers.
He was a giant of a man.

As I understand it
David discovered a year or so ago that he had cancer
which finally involved his lungs, stomach and brain.His wife Mary
and his family were at his bedside today. David was a tireless
worker for truth and through his website, conferences and lectures,
encouraged a great number of people to go on their own explorations
of the mysteries of the universe. Now David is en route to
uncovering one of the greatest mysteries of all and we wish him a
fond bon voyage on his last great journey.
Please remember Mary and their family in your
thoughts and prayers.
Some people claim that modern crop pictures are just
abstract landscape art, drawn in English fields by
human fakers with rope and boards, and that such
patterns have no deeper meaning. Such a view is
profoundly wrong, because serious researchers can
now understand clearly what most crop pictures mean.
Two pictures from the summer of 2008 showed for
example pi to ten digits as 3.141592654, or our
nine-planet solar system as it will appear on
December 23, 2012 when the Mayan Long Count calendar
ends. Detailed forensic inspection of the fields
suggests that neither picture (nor many others)
could have been locally human-made. Quite
surprisingly, instead of alien symbols, those
authentic crop pictures often show long-forgotten
symbols from our distant past on Earth: whether from
Egypt, the ancient
British Isles or central America.
The following is an announcement of Jonathan's Passing away and
funeral details, please do pass on to anyone who knew him.
Rachel Sherwood and Family.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing away
of Jonathan Sherwood, informally known as drjohn, on the 31st of
October 2008. He became ill suddenly on the 29th of October from
a rare type of stroke, and passed away peacefully two days
later. Jonathan was 56. He was and always will be much loved and
greatly missed by his wife Rachel and boys James and Sam. He
will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. I am sure
this will come as a great shock to all who knew him as it has to
us.
The funeral of Jonathan Sherwood was held on Thursday the 13th
of November at 10.45 am at the West Wiltshire Crematorium,
Devizes Road, Semington, Near Trowbridge, Wiltshire. BA14 6HL.

Tom Barry, a British filmmaker
working for Zig-Zag Productions, called me in May, 2009, asking about the
possibility of my participation in a new crop circle film he had been assigned
to produce for National Geographic TV. Mr. Barry was apparently unaware that
National Geographic TV has aired several crop circle pieces in the past and that
I—representing the BLT Research Team--had been involved in one that aired in
2005. He seemed uninformed regarding the circle phenomenon generally, and
apparently did not know that I had been both sincerely surprised by the overtly
biased treatment accorded the scientific research conducted and published by
members of the BLT Team in the '05 National Geographic TV crop circle show (www.bltresearch.com).
I told Mr. Barry that I felt
that both the phenomenon and our work had been inordinately misrepresented and,
therefore, asked him if he could provide me with assurance that his proposed
effort would be a fair and unbiased presentation? Specifically, I asked him if
he could provide me with a "final cut" of his film prior to its being
aired—along with the written assurance that I would have the
right to withdraw all parts of my interview and any graphic materials
provided by me or BLT if I felt the final product was either willfully skewed or
disrespectful of the BLT work or, in particular, the scientists involved.
I did not hear from Mr. Barry
for several weeks, during which time I did hear from multiple other crop circle
enthusiasts, who expressed their concerns regarding the content of this
new show. I did finally receive an email from Mr. Barry telling me that he no
longer plans to shoot here in the U.S. and will film only in the UK. He also
suggested he would pay all of my expenses to come to the UK--but he did
not respond to my questions about fair representation. Given Nat.Geo's past
"coverage" of the circle phenomenon, this omission seems to be a very clear red
flag.
Then on June 24th Mr. Barry
called to tell me that the executives at Nat. Geo. had refused to provide
a written statement that the new film would provide an unbiased approach
to the phenomenon or the BLT work, but that he was moving ahead anyway. Because
of Nat. Geo's previous superficial, flippant presentations—and because I have no
way of knowing that this new production will be either respectful or accurate—I
decided not to participate.

(as I am) that this new project may again present a biased portrayal of the
phenomenon you may want to express your concerns (before the film ispresented publicly) to the Executive Producer at Zig-Zag
Productions or to Mr. Sydney Suissa, the Executive VP in charge of Content at
Nat. Geo. Channels Intn'l, or to other responsible individuals at National

Many people within the crop circle community may have
been approached by Tom Barry of Zig-Zag Productions, an
independent production company that has been
commissioned on behalf of the National Geographic
channel " to make a one hour documentary about Crop
Circles, which we hope to film this summer in the UK and
abroad. It’s part of a series where we examine other
well known mysteries or phenomena, such as the Lost City
of Atlantis, Bermuda Triangle - to name just a few -
with the emphasis on possible scientific explanations
behind them."
After originally approaching me regarding my scientific
findings, on being questioned, Tom Barry then told me
that the programme might have a broader remit!
Since then I have repeatedly asked Tom Barry for written
assurances that no crop circles will be commissioned, or
hoaxers interviewed and that indeed the programme will
be science and only science based. The man made aspect
is not part of the genuine phenomenon. To date I have
received no such written or even verbal assurances.
Tom Barry tells me that they are due to start filming in
about two weeks time and many of you may be considering
participating.
However I have decided not to take part as I do not
consider the programme will in any way advance either
the genuine crop circle phenomenon or my work. In making
this decision I have also taken into consideration the
bad experience I suffered with another production
company working for the National Geographic in 2007.

Crop Circles in Jones County Texas-Late March 2009
I (and my son) witnessed crop circles in a field in Jones County, Texas
on Friday, March 27 at 1:33 pm (CDT). I took five pictures, but as the
angle was low, the phenomenon is not clear. I have since looked for any
report or other photos of this, but have found none. Google Earth has
outdated photos of the area. Do you know of any websites that update
their satellite pictures or are real time?
The latest news is that the broken off blade has been found on the
wind farm site.
Nick Pope (UK UFO expert) says in the Sun "This could be one of most
significant UFO incidents for years. If something collided with the
wind turbine, as seems certain, there may be residue on the damaged
parts that could help solve this mystery. In the last two months
there have been two near collisions between UFO's and police
helicopters, and now this."
A wonderful new Crop Circle
Research centre opens its doors.
The new Silent Circle crop circle centre was
opened Sunday 27th April in an annex next to the White Horse
Inn, in the beautiful village of Compton Bassett, Wiltshire. It
was well attended by many crop circle researchers and
enthusiasts including Francine Blake and Stuart Dike and many
more. The sunny day meant many people could sit in the wonderful
beer garden, which is directly outside the centre. Children and
adults played the French game of Boules which is set up in the
garden.
The centre has a wide range of information
facilities and a large stock of pertinent books, DVDs magazines,
photography, fine crafts, crystals, gifts and a lot more
besides.
There are computers operating for anyone to
use and a Wi-Fi facility.
There are also maps on the walls of the area,
with stickers to show people the location of this seasons crop
circles.
There are already many speaking events to be
held at the centre this summer. At least eight speakers are
already booked. There will also be field trips and night
watching organized by Charles Mallet.
All in all this should mean that the Silent
Circle will be the social hub for most of the visitors to the
Wiltshire crop circles this summer.

In the spring of 2007 I was approached by North One Television to
appear in a programme they were producing on behalf of the National
Geographic called `I Didn’t Know That`. One of the subjects to be
investigated was crop circles. I made careful enquiries as to the
content of this programme and their approach to the subject. I was told
they were interested in the scientific aspect and the work I had
conducted in this area.
I also asked if I was going to be the only person interviewed and was
told that I was the only person. As I have grown increasingly sceptical
about the motives behind so called `scientifically` based programmes` I
felt it was necessary to obtain this assurance.
The interview was conducted in the Yatesbury barley formation, nr
Avebury Trusloe. Not long after I questioned North One Television about
a crop formation that had appeared in an obscure corner of a field near
Yatesbury. They admitted that they had commissioned this circle to be
made.
Clearly I was not the only person to be interviewed.
In the Introduction we are told that this programme is going to reveal
surprising facts that are guaranteed to make you say `I didn’t know that
.` We are then introduced to two industrial scientists Richard Ambrose
and Johnny Phillips `who don’t mind getting their hands dirty when it
comes to establishing the facts`.
There were three trailers during the programme; the first one says
`strange goings on the night. What really creates crop circles? And then
proceeds to show men in the field making the commissioned man made
formation.
The second trailer titled `Still to come` asks `Are aliens the designers
of these amazing crop circles?` shows two stills of the 22 June 2006
Lurkley Hill, Nr Lockeridge and the 23 June 2006 Windmill Hill circle.
It also shows men in dark clothes lurking in the darkness in a field and
hedgerow thus giving the unmistakable impression of human involvement.
The third trailer shows us Richard Ambrose putting forward several
theories, some fairly ridiculous as to the origin of crop circles.
Following this I come on and speak for 42 seconds. Using clever
photography it then shows me distorted and looking an idiot.
No mention was made of my research.
Next we see John Lundberg, Will ? and Robert Irwin assembling in the
field of wheat with their planks and a 100 metre surveyors measuring
tape; the tools they need to construct the circle.
To add insult to injury, presenter Richard Ambrose then joins the trio
and proceeds to take part in stomping down the wheat. All this takes
approx: 2 and a half minutes of viewing time.
When I queried why one the trailers had shown the commissioned circle
being made I was told `That is what the public wants to see`.
I would suggest that the general public wants to hear the truth and that
the announcement at the beginning of the film that they were going to
`establish the facts` was just as dishonourable and dishonest as the
producers had been to me. We all know that man made formations do exist,
but why do programme producers run scared of revealing the scientific
facts and figures that show beyond all doubt that a real phenomenon
exists. Of what are they frightened or what is their hidden agenda for
concealing this information?
I believe I was misled into appearing in a programme that not only was
heavily weighted in favour of the man made element but was also
disinterested in presenting the public with any scientific research
results.
There was a time when the programmes produced by or for the National
Geographic were programmes of scientific integrity and fact. They were a
scion of truth. Sadly this is no longer the case, they are as bad as the
worst tabloids pandering to what they consider the public wants to see
and hear. They are no longer to be trusted with the truth.

Two American college
roommates, a British Tour Guide and an Australian tourist join in a

Dear Mark, I'm Tania from Belgium. I found a photo of my boyfriend on
the site from July 2002. His name was Paul Jennis. I don't know that he
was a member. I know that we look at the latest crop circles every time
we were together and that he had a lot of information and books so I
think he was a member. It was a passion of him that I shared. I don't
know that he had contacts or friends on the site but if so , I would
like to let them know that Pol (Paul) has died last October 2005 after a
Job accident. Everyone who would like to contact me about Paul and was
close to him, is free to mail me. In memory of him, and my love to him,

Information release
The Silent
Circle café / Crop Circle information centre / meta-physical resources
facility at Cherhill Wiltshire has been recently closed for a period of
restructuring and pre-06 season refurbishment. The aim is for this highly
successful venture is to be able to provide the visiting public to the
south of England enigmas with the very best of service, information and
products, to achieve this a short stand-down period has been required.
The Silent Circle will
re-open on the 21st March 2006. From this date the café will be
open 7 days a week for the coming spring / summer / autumn period.
The
season finally comes to an end for the Circle Chasers video team as they
complete the filming below the ancient Uffington White Horse. The 2005
season turned out to be a very exciting one and was a joy to film. We now
turn to the editing of ‘Circle Chasers 2005’ which we hope to complete as
soon as possible in order to have the new DVD completed by December.
The new DVD will also include a
bonus feature on the 2000 season.
On the 2nd July 2005 The Silent Circle Cafe
re-opened.
We wish the cafe all the success for the coming years
and recommend all visitors to the circles to pop into the cafe for
information and to meet like minded people.

Jaime Maussan
Jaime Maussan presented a short lecture at the Crop Circle Conference 2005
hosted by the Crop Circle Study Group with the assistance
of Crop Circle Connector and
material from their site. Jaime Maussan flew from Mexico specifically to
visit the Wayland Smithy formation because of its Mayan connection. With
Crop Circle Connector, he was researching this circle when he was
astounded to hear of a new event that had occurred overnight in a
neighbouring field below Uffington Castle which also had Mayan
connections. He also visited Silbury Hill which he considered had
similarities with Mayan and Aztec civilisations.

‘Evening with the Phenomenon – Circle Chasers 2005’ held last Wednesday on
the 27th of July at Alton Barnes was very well attended. The
speakers Francine Blake and Janet Ossebaard were very well received. The
showing of part of ‘Circle Chasers 2004’ and a preview of ‘Circle Chasers
2005’ were also much appreciated by the people in the crowded hall.
Everyone seemed to have an enjoyable evening. We hope to hold this event
again next year in 2006.
Feature writer Andrew Yates telephoned me on Thursday evening, 14 July
2005 to ask if the pictures of crop circles that I had submitted to the
Daily Mail were all in the south of England.
I asked him to include a short piece in his editorial about my long
standing research in to the effects of electromagnetic fields in living
systems; for example changes in both brain activity, hormone levels and
protein levels on seeds that were to be found in genuine crop circles.
He refused, saying it was only going to be a very short piece. I then
asked him to tell me what had been written and he replied just a couple
of paragraphs saying that these formations were to be found in the
fields in Southern England. At no time did he tell me that he had
written that crop circles were `now known to be intricate works of human
art designed using computer technology`. On reflection, I can now see
why did not reveal what he had written and why he refused to include my
work on electromagnet fields on living systems as it would have been in
direct conflict with his editorial.
Also I would like to point out that the images were not taken from 2005
only, half of them were from the late summer of 2004 and all this
information was clearly displayed on the back of each print.
I have had very many happy years of association with the Daily Mail
working with people of integrity who researched their subject correctly
instead of making bald statements for which they have no evidence and
which in consequence unfortunately mislead both the public and their
readership.

PRODUCTION REPORT; BOREHAM WOOD, NR LOCKERIDGE, WILTSHIRE
On this humid night, in front of
the large trees of West Woods we filmed this curious formation. A slight
departure to what has gone before it, as this shape appears to have some
ancient quality to its overall design.
As we entered the formation, we
immediately noticed something extremely odd! The entire outer section of
the crop had been shredded, as if the farmer had come in and defaced just
this part of the design. However this unusual episode became even more
bizarre, as the inner design to the formation had been left totally
intact. Even the four petal shapes around the perimeter had been
completely untouched. Whoever had come in and cut the already downed crop
had clearly enough respect for the entire design.
This kind of event is extremely
rare. In my 15 years of research I have only encountered this twice, and
this was the second time! It reminded me of the galaxy formation along the
Avebury Avenue in 1994, which had its entire internal detail cut out,
leaving the overall outline intact.
Whatever was around the outer part
to this odd design, wasn't around for long. We can only think of two
scenarios for this eccentric act.
Firstly, the farmer may have come
into the formation, and wanted to spoil the design for the researchers and
general public. However nobody from the road could tell if the formation
had been defaced, as the entire shape could still be clearly visible. So
it would defeat any object to keep people away.
Secondly, whatever information was
available within the outer edge of the pattern was so sensitive that it
had to be removed very quickly.Conspiracies can
rise from such a notion, very much like what happened in 1994 at the
Avebury Avenue. Once again we can only speculate on what really took place
and for what reasons?
The filming was a great success,
as the warm light created excellent opportunities for dramatic shots. We
only spent around one and one half hours at the site as the light was
fading. However that was enough time to take pole shots, carry out a
little presenting and film some atmospheric shots across the formation.
Even the area around the
Beckhampton Formation is off limits.
We were turned away from an area not far from the Beckhampton formation as
we tried to take some video shots from a nearby ancient Tumuli. We had
walked up to the Tumuli on what appeared to us as a footpath. We explained
to the farmer and his wife that we had no intention of going into any of
his crop fields. He explained we were on his land, and it was not a
footpath. We had a pleasant conversation with him and his wife, we then
left. I am afraid a lot of people visiting the area in July are going to
think as we did that this is a footpath and will be keen to get a closer
look at this impressive and massive formation. The farmer will either have
to put up a ‘No Trespassing’ sign or others are bound make the same
mistake. The farmer also raised concerns regarding low flying helicopters
upsetting his cattle in the nearby field. All in all the location of this
formation is certainly putting stress on the relationships between this
farmer and the crop circle enthusiasts. We suggested to him that charging
people to enter would refund his crop loss but he said he had not got the
time to organise this. This no doubt will be an ongoing issue with some of
the farmers. Even as we had turned our cars and were driving back along
the main road we noticed someone on a motor bike had parked and was about
to go and look at the formation. We warned him of the farmer’s wishes. I
am afraid we won’t be there the next time to hold people back.
UNCONVENTIONAL SHAPE ON SECOND DAY OF PRODUCTION

Our second
location found us at a very controversial shape, which appeared some weeks
after the first event on the 1st of May. Both designs couldn't have been
more contrasting, which meant that we had to show a level of caution
towards this event. However it didn't actually stop us from covering the
event in our normal way. We did experience some rather lengthily and
frustrating lighting problems due to the weather conditions. Sunshine and
cloud can often cause delays with the shooting of the production. We
sometime take hours to cover just one formation. Our shots from the air
were very successful.

GOLDEN BALL HILL, WILTSHIRE 1st May 2005
We were suddenly
thrown into an early new crop circle season in Wiltshire this year, which
filled us with great excitement and anticipation. What isn't surprising
was the choice of crop for the first formation. Oil Seed Rape is really
the only crop that can be used as a canvas at this time of year. However
its flowers create the most photogenic crop of the entire summer, due to
its radiant bright yellow colour.
The weather was
kind to us on this day, as the ground was dry. We were unable to enter the
formation on the ground, due to our respect towards this Farmer and our
responsibility with regard to our readership. Last year, this particular
Farmer wasn't happy about having a formation on this land, and he actually
called the police. Well this was also the case in 2005, as other people
found to their cost. We believe no arrests were made.
It really is quite
an exercise to set out for the day shooting formations from the air and
ground. Our biggest obstacle is the weather, as we quickly have to gauge
whether we fly first, either in the morning, or wait until the evening. On
this particular weekend, there had been thunderstorms the day before, so
we were unsure about the weather. As we were unable to enter the
formation, all of the Presenting work took place from both sides of the
valley, including the top of Golden Ball Hill, (as you can see from the
images on the left).
For the 2005
production, we create different ways to capture the atmosphere of the
season, as this is vitally important to understand what its like to follow
this enigmatic phenomenon as it appears. So we experiment with different
shots of the formation within the landscape, because its not always about
what has formed within the field, but also its location, and its possible
connection to historical sites in the area. This is one of our goals
within the production of Circle chasers 2005. Its important that each
location we film retains its own characteristics to keep it fresh and
inventive.
